The name makes it sound like some sleek rooftop bar, but it’s actually this perfectly cozy studio tucked into the Presqu’île Malraux district – and honestly, that’s way better than what I was expecting. The location on rue Alice Guy is one of those quiet residential streets that locals love but tourists rarely stumble across, which means you get the real Strasbourg experience without feeling like you’re staying in a theme park.

The studio itself is compact but thoughtfully laid out – I mean, whoever designed this actually understands how people live, not just how hotels think people should live. Everything has its place without feeling cramped, and the terrace (which is the real star here) overlooks this charming mix of traditional Alsatian rooftops and newer developments that perfectly captures how Strasbourg balances its historic soul with modern life. I spent way too many mornings out there with coffee, watching the neighborhood wake up. The whole Presqu’île area has this creative energy – there’s actually a lot of cultural stuff happening around here that most visitors miss because they stick to the cathedral and Petite France. You’re walking distance from some excellent local bistros and that Saturday market on Place du Marché aux Poissons that serves the best tarte flambée outside of the tourist traps.

What really impressed me was how quiet it stays despite being so central – rue Alice Guy doesn’t get much through traffic, so you can actually sleep with the windows open and hear birds instead of delivery trucks at 6 AM. The 9.3 rating makes total sense once you’ve stayed here; it’s one of those places where all the little details work together smoothly. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward (no hovering concierge trying to upsell you on breakfast), and while parking can be a bit of a puzzle in this neighborhood, there are spots if you know where to look – or better yet, just embrace the tram system since you’re well-connected to the rest of the city. I’d definitely book this again, especially if you’re the type of traveler who wants to feel like you’re living somewhere rather than just passing through.

  Had everything we need, plus Big windows/glass doors to the patio w great views. Clean & comfy linen sheets & towels. Very close to the tram station, so we can navigate the city easily and can go directly to the central train station. You won’t get hungry as there are plenty of places to eat, Starbucks & carrefour nearby.
  
  What could be improved: One of the sliding door’s lock to the patio was broken. The door could be closed but couldn’t be locked. Just felt a little bit unsafe knowing that one door was unlocked. I had notified the property manager.

  Convenience to tram. Big TV Very nice view. The communication was wuick and helpful when we had questions.
  
  What could be improved: It was a little in need of some TLC. Broken cabinet door, picture off the wall. The shower water was just warm enough to not be cold, we could not turn any heat or bathroom towel warmers. The front door became non usable after about 4 days so we had to figure out how to get into the building. We then had to keep walking through the trash area which did not smell good. There were a bunch of lights not working and light switches we had no idea what they were.

  Ήσυχη και ασφαλής περιοχή με ωραία θέα από τον 12 όροφο .Εύκολη πρόσβαση στο κέντρο με τα τραμ Ε και C σε 15 λεπτά.Η στάση των τραμ απέχει 1 λεπτό με τα πόδια. Υπάρχουν κοντά εστιατόρια , καφετέριες και καταστήματα τροφίμων. Το κατάλυμα παρέχει ανέσεις .
