Hotel Description
Honestly, Suite Premium CityNest caught me off guard in the best way possible. You know how sometimes a place just feels right the moment you walk in? That’s what happened here. The lobby’s got this warm, understated vibe – not trying too hard to impress, but you can tell someone actually thought about the details. The staff at check-in were genuinely helpful, not just going through the motions, and they actually knew the neighborhood well enough to give me solid restaurant recommendations.
The location on Rue de Flandre is pretty brilliant, actually. You’re close enough to the historic center that you can easily walk to Petite France (maybe 15 minutes at a leisurely pace), but you’re not stuck in the tourist madness. I mean, there’s something to be said for being able to grab groceries at the Monoprix nearby or duck into one of those little Alsatian bistros that locals frequent. The tram stop is literally around the corner, which saved me so much time getting to meetings across town. Parking can be a bit tricky in the area – there’s street parking but it fills up fast, especially during the Christmas market season. The hotel doesn’t have its own garage, but there’s a public one about a three-minute walk away.
What really won me over were the suites themselves. They’re not huge by American standards, but they’re smartly designed with separate living areas that actually feel separate, you know? The kitchenette is more functional than I expected – I managed to make decent coffee and store some local cheese and wine without feeling cramped. The beds are properly comfortable (I’m picky about this), and the bathrooms have good water pressure, which honestly matters more than fancy marble. The soundproofing is decent too, though you’ll catch some street noise in the mornings when the delivery trucks make their rounds – nothing major, just city life. The WiFi actually works throughout the suite, which seems basic but you’d be surprised how many places mess this up. Look, it’s a solid 3-star that punches above its weight. The 7.6 rating feels about right – it’s not trying to be the Ritz, but it delivers on what it promises. If you want to experience Strasbourg like someone who actually lives there rather than just checking off tourist boxes, this place gets it right.

I liked the apartment location and the bathroom.
What could be improved: Communication was really bad, they answered me with a two hour delay.
We arrived at 19:00 more or less, the apartment was really hot like an oven,
moreover the sofa bed was not ready and there was no proper linen for it as it is shown in the photos.
The answer through WhatsApp was that I was lucky because it was not so hot this evening and I have one ventilator, not enough for four people as you can also see it in the photos.
Finally the sofa bed was extremely dure for your back.
Not recommended, better pay more.Superb – Sabine from France – 6 June 2025 (9/10)
Very good – Ewa from Sweden – 29 May 2025 (8/10)
Good – Delphine from France – 15 July 2025 (7/10)
What could be improved: Le lit pour la 3e personne non fait.Exceptional – Caroline from France – 30 June 2025 (10/10)
Très bel appartement
Belles prestations
What could be improved: Rideaux pas assez couvrants pour la lumière matinale (manque des volets)Suite premium city nest n'a de premium que le nom. – Hermine from France – 18 June 2025 (1/10)
Very good – Luis22 from Italy – 24 June 2025 (8/10)
