BOMA easy living hotel Overview

First Impressions

Walking into BOMA easy living hotel feels refreshingly different from your typical four-star property. There’s something understated about the place that I actually appreciated — it doesn’t try too hard to impress you with flashy lobbies or over-the-top decor. Instead, you get this clean, modern vibe that feels genuinely comfortable rather than stuffy. The staff greeted me with that perfect balance of professionalism and warmth, and honestly, you could tell right away that this place prioritizes substance over show.

Prime Strasbourg Location

The location on Rue du Vingt-Deux Novembre is honestly brilliant — you’re right in the heart of Strasbourg without being stuck in the tourist chaos. I mean, you can walk to the cathedral in about ten minutes, but you’re also close enough to the Petite France district that evening strolls become second nature. What I loved most was how easy it was to duck into local bistros and cafés that locals actually frequent. The tram connections are right there too, which makes getting around the city effortless if you want to venture beyond the historic center.

The Room Experience

My room was exactly what you’d hope for after a long day of exploring — genuinely comfortable without unnecessary frills. The bed was exceptional, and I’m someone who usually struggles with hotel mattresses. You know what impressed me most? The attention to practical details like proper lighting for reading and enough outlets where you actually need them. The bathroom was compact but well-designed, with a shower that had decent water pressure. Everything felt thoughtfully planned rather than just thrown together to fill space.

Morning Fuel

Breakfast here strikes that sweet spot between variety and quality that many hotels miss completely. The continental spread includes proper French pastries — not the sad, day-old croissants you sometimes get — alongside fresh fruit, quality cheeses, and decent coffee. The buffet setup flows well, so you’re not bumping into other guests constantly. I particularly appreciated that they had both lighter options and heartier fare, depending on whether you’re planning a museum day or tackling Strasbourg’s cobblestone streets for hours.

Why Guests Love It

What makes BOMA work so well is how it gets the fundamentals right without overthinking things. The location score speaks for itself — couples especially seem to love how walkable everything becomes from here. You’re close enough to Strasbourg’s main attractions that you can pop back to your room mid-day if needed, but far enough from the main tourist drags that evenings feel peaceful. The combination of genuinely comfortable beds, a solid breakfast, and that prime location creates exactly what most travelers actually want: a reliable base that enhances your trip rather than complicating it. It’s the kind of place where you focus on exploring the city instead of dealing with hotel hassles.

Reviews of BOMA easy living hotel

  • Excellent Central Hotel for Hot Weather – Jennifer from United States – 22 July 2025 (9/10)

Great location. Excellent secure bicycle storage. Very quiet rooms. Excellent air conditioning. The lobby is huge with food and drink. The staff were very helpful.

What could be improved: The rooms are quite dark without enough lighting. We would have liked a closet kr drawers for storage (open shelves, so your belongings are on display)

  • Loved our stay in Strasbourg at this hotel, it feels really fresh and the beds were super comfy. – Monica from United Kingdom – 19 July 2025 (10/10)

Very central location and friendly staff, would recommend.

  • Superb – Smiljka from Switzerland – 14 July 2025 (9/10)

I stayed here during an unexpected overnight stay in Strasbourg, hence a very short stay but a lovely room and the bathroom with a really great decor.

  • Quiet, cool room in a great location – Joy from United States – 13 July 2025 (10/10)

Great location, very comfortable bed with nice linens, cool air conditioning, and quiet throughout – very much appreciated! I have stayed here before and it was a pleasure to return, even for a brief visit.

What could be improved: The room safe could be a better size.

  • Exceptional – Anna from Australia – 6 July 2025 (10/10)

Everything works. It's a comfortable, efficient and the staff is wonderful.

  • Perfect spot to explore Strasbourg – Bizhou from United States – 30 June 2025 (10/10)

The hotel is situated only a few minutes walking distance from Strasbourg train station as well as the center of the city. When we arrived early, they had an easy to use and safe place to store the luggage. The room was very nice – looked like all new renovations even better than we expected! ps everything in the mini fridge is complimentary too. They also accommodated us checking out a bit later – I'm very happy with this stay!

  • Great stay in the centre of Strasbourg, I will come again for sure! – Paola from Switzerland – 25 June 2025 (10/10)

Mattress and pillow, cleaningness, free minibar, location

What could be improved: A broader choice for breakfast would have been nice, some snacks in the room

  • Exceptional – Anna from Italy – 14 June 2025 (10/10)

Breakfast was delicious and the room was spacious and very clean. The hotel is located in the city centre.

    The staff was awesome.

  • Great location, very nice hotel. – Randal from Canada – 13 June 2025 (10/10)

Absolutely loved that the pillows were Tempurpedic. Best pillows on our whole 6 week trip. We were in 8 different hotels in Europe, and we decided the bed and pillows were #1 !
Also enjoyed having lunch and a glass of wine there. Great location.

What could be improved: Everything was great. Only thing was when sitting up in bed it would slide away from the headboard and create a gap. This would be easily remedied.

  • Superb – Federica from Switzerland – 10 June 2025 (9/10)

    The location is quite central.
The hotel is modern, colorful and comfortable, despite the rooms are quite small.
The rooms at higher floors are quiet.

What could be improved: The staff was not the best. Not giving any information if not explicitly asked, seldom greeting or smiling when guests passed by.
The other guest in the other room I booked reported that the level of cleaning in their room was not great.
The breakfast was ok, but a little bit unorganized, with many things missing all the time.
