Strasbourg magnifique appartement centre ville Petite France Overview
First Impressions
Walking up to Strasbourg magnifique appartement centre ville Petite France on Rue du Coq, you immediately know you’ve hit the jackpot. This four-star apartment sits right in the heart of Petite France — honestly, I can’t think of a better spot to experience authentic Strasbourg. The cobblestone streets and half-timbered houses create this fairy-tale atmosphere that feels almost too perfect to be real, but here you are, staying right in the middle of it all.
The Perfect Location
You know what’s incredible about this place? That 9.9 location score isn’t just marketing fluff — it’s actually earned. I mean, you’re literally steps away from the iconic covered bridges and the Barrage Vauban, and the cathedral is just a pleasant stroll through the old town. The tourist boats dock practically around the corner, but somehow the street itself stays relatively quiet. It’s that sweet spot where you’re in the thick of everything without feeling like you’re camping out in Times Square. The nearby restaurant scene offers authentic Alsatian cuisine within walking distance.
The Apartment Experience
The space itself feels authentically Alsatian — you’ll find those charming architectural details that remind you you’re in a building with real history. The room setup works perfectly for couples (which explains why pairs rate this place so highly), and there’s enough space to actually unpack and settle in rather than just crash. The windows frame those postcard views of the canal, and in the evening when the lights reflect off the water, well… it’s pretty magical, honestly. The kitchen is fully equipped for preparing meals during your stay.
Exploring the Neighborhood
What I love about staying here is how you become part of the neighborhood rhythm rather than just observing it. There’s a lovely bakery two minutes away where locals grab their morning pastries, and the Marché aux Poissons feels like your local market. You can walk to the European Parliament if that’s your thing, or just wander the winding streets discovering hidden courtyards and artisan shops. The tram stops nearby connect you to the rest of Strasbourg, though honestly, you might find yourself rarely leaving this enchanting quarter. Convenient parking options are available nearby for guests with vehicles.
Why Guests Love It
That 8.6 rating reflects what most people discover — this isn’t just accommodation, it’s your temporary Strasbourg home. Couples especially seem to fall for the romantic setting (those canal views don’t hurt), and the apartment style gives you more flexibility than a traditional hotel room. You can grab groceries from the nearby market, enjoy a glass of Alsatian wine on a quiet evening, or simply watch the world go by from your window. It’s the kind of place that makes you start planning your return visit before you’ve even checked out.

Reviews of Strasbourg magnifique appartement centre ville Petite France
Fantastic location & clean accommodation – Anonymous from Australia – 7 July 2025 (9/10)
The apartment was in a fantastic location- an easy walk from the train station, to the Grand’Rue and around Petite France. Self check in was easy, and the apartment was as described. The washing machine was super handy for our family of 6, and the kitchen had everything we needed for breakfast before heading out. There were two coffee machines but we only found sachets for one to use. The apartment was clean and well presented.
What could be improved: Unfortunately we were there during a heat wave and there were only 2 fans for the apartment. The owner tried to buy an extra one but unfortunately shops were sold out. Hopefully they are able to get a third fan in case of future heat waves.I hope to go back to Strasbourg and use this apartment as my home base again! – Natalie from United States – 21 May 2025 (10/10)
Overall we loved the place, location and look of the building. We loved that the place had plenty of towels, a washer, coffee and 3 separate bedrooms. Strasbourg was fantastic and this spot is a great home base!
What could be improved: The directions to obtain the keys were screenshots in French. My phone can't copy text from an image to translate so we STRUGGLED to figure out how to get it. Instructions in english or at least not in a screenshot would have helped us since the keys are not within sight of the property but on a totally different street. This is a simple issue that can be easily fixed.Pleasant – Kirsten from Australia – 11 May 2025 (6/10)
Location was excellent, so walkable to everywhere!
What could be improved: Beds weren’t very comfortable, and no soap/body wash was provided for the shower which would have been appreciated. We had a pleasant time in a house built in traditional architecture – Selma from Turkey – 3 April 2025 (7/10)
It was very difficult to find the key needed to enter the apartment, especially if you arrived in the evening, finding the box where the key was hidden was a real puzzle.
Kitchen utensils are completely inadequate, pots and pans are in poor condition, unusable.
We couldn't get the dishwasher to work.
On the other hand, the location is perfect, the cleanliness is quite good, if the bed linens were white, we would be more comfortable about the cleanliness.
When we called the landlord, we definitely got a quick response, thank you to himGreat stay in Petite France – Jessica from United States – 14 January 2025 (10/10)
The location was wonderful – easily walkable to everything we were interested in during Christmas market season. The flat was also an easy walk to the train station. The grocery store and boulangerie we're a few minutes away, and the washing machine was a great help!
What could be improved: The only minor inconvenience was that the cooking knives were a bit dull. Otherwise we had a wonderful stay.Good – Lily from Australia – 8 January 2025 (7/10)
Location was amazing. Staff were very responsive when we had issues. Affordable.
What could be improved: Beds in 2nd and 3rd bedroom are ok for kids but adults found them uncomfortable. Be aware that the hot water tank is small, the four of us had to space out our showers as we ran out of hot water the first night.Fairly basic apartment in a fabulous location. – Miriam from United Kingdom – 27 December 2024 (6/10)
The location was really good – right in the middle of La Petite France, super convenient for the Christmas market and within easy walking distance of the station.
What could be improved: The furnishing of the apartment was quite basic and the beds in the single rooms weren't particularly comfortable for adults.Exceptional – Patrick from Australia – 22 September 2024 (10/10)
We really enjoyed our stay in this apartment.
Great location, kind and careful host – Francesca from Germany – 29 August 2024 (8/10)
Location, clean, kind host
What could be improved: Quality of mattress and bath towelsA clean and simple apartment with a great host in a super convenient location. – Lael from United States – 8 June 2024 (10/10)
Great location. Clean apartment that met the needs of four traveling cyclists.
Host was easily reached when we had questions, very friendly.
