The Room Experience

The room I stayed in had this lovely blend of contemporary comfort and French charm. You know what struck me most? The attention to detail — quality linens, thoughtful lighting, and windows that actually open, which isn’t always a given in historic buildings. The bathrooms are modern and well-designed, though not huge — but honestly, when you’re in a location this good, you’re not spending much time in your room anyway. The beds are genuinely comfortable, and the soundproofing works well despite being on a city street.

Being right on Rue des Grandes Arcades puts you in the middle of some fantastic local life. There’s this amazing boulangerie just down the street where locals queue up for their morning pastries — I’d grab a pain au chocolat and coffee there most mornings. The nearby Place Kléber is perfect for people-watching, and you’re walking distance to both the European Parliament district and the old town’s winding streets. The restaurant scene around here is incredible too — from traditional Alsatian winstubs to modern bistros, you’re spoiled for choice.

  Had everything we needed in the kitchen and with the laundry, good location
  Always nice with my son and I can have separate rooms and if there’s a bathtub and the toilet is separate that is icing on the cake so I can take a bath and read a book

  What could be improved: Front bedroom is noisy at night being in a central location. There is an elevator but sometimes didn’t work. Multiple steep stairs, difficult if a person has mobility issues.

  This is a very nice apartment with everything you need included. Very clean and well appointed. Such a wonderful location for the Christmas markets, grocery close by, pharmacy just a few steps from the front door, fabulous food up and down the street. We wish we were staying longer!
  
  What could be improved: Everything was great. The bathroom sink does have a bit of spray so your shirt will get wet. Other than that, this is a wonderful place to stay. Quiet in the building, but centrally located.
