Honestly, the location is probably the hotel’s biggest win. The European Parliament is practically next door, and you can walk to Petite France in about fifteen minutes. I mean, you’re close enough to everything that matters, but the street itself stays relatively quiet. There’s a decent boulangerie just around the corner that locals actually use, which tells you something about the neighborhood. The neighborhood truly captures the essence of what makes this destination special.

The Room Experience

The room I stayed in was well-designed without trying too hard — clean lines, comfortable bed, and a bathroom that actually had decent water pressure. Nothing groundbreaking, but everything worked properly, which is more than I can say for some places. The garden view (hence the name, I suppose) overlooks a pleasant courtyard space that’s surprisingly peaceful given how central you are. Storage was adequate, and the air conditioning didn’t sound like a jet engine, which honestly made all the difference during my summer visit. The overall comfort level exceeded expectations.

Dining & Amenities

The breakfast spread is solid — not spectacular, but it covers all the bases with some nice local touches. Fresh croissants, decent coffee, and they actually had proper Alsatian specialties mixed in with the standard continental fare. There’s no full restaurant on-site, but frankly, you don’t need one with Strasbourg’s dining scene right outside your door. The front desk staff knows their local recommendations too, which came in handy more than once. Guests consistently appreciate the quality of service throughout their stay.
