OKKO Hotels Strasbourg Centre Overview
First Impressions
Walking into OKKO Hotels Strasbourg Centre, you immediately get that this isn’t your typical chain hotel — there’s something refreshingly modern about the whole vibe. The lobby has this clean, contemporary design that feels distinctly French but not stuffy, you know? It’s the kind of place where business travelers and couples both seem to fit right in, which honestly makes sense given how popular it is with repeat guests. The attention to detail in every corner sets the tone for what you can expect throughout your stay.
Location & Getting Around
The location on Rue du Bassin d’Austerlitz is actually pretty brilliant — you’re right in the heart of Strasbourg but on a quieter street that doesn’t get all the tourist foot traffic. You can walk to the cathedral and Petite France in about ten minutes, but you’re not dealing with crowds right outside your window. Couples especially seem to love this spot, and it’s romantic without being touristy. The neighborhood offers the perfect balance of accessibility and tranquility for both leisure and business visitors.
The Room Experience
The room design follows that same modern aesthetic, with clean lines and thoughtful touches that show someone actually cared about the details. What I really appreciated was how they managed to make a four-star space feel more upscale than you’d expect — the lighting is spot-on, and there’s enough space to actually unpack without feeling cramped. The beds are genuinely comfortable, which honestly isn’t always a given even at nice hotels. Each room is equipped with quality furnishings and modern amenities that enhance your comfort throughout your entire stay.
Breakfast & Dining
The breakfast situation here is where they really shine — they’ve got this buffet setup that covers pretty much every dietary need you can think of. Continental options, vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free — the works. It’s not just checking boxes either; the quality is actually there. The restaurant area has this relaxed morning atmosphere where you can take your time, and the coffee is proper French coffee, not some watered-down hotel version. The dining experience reflects the hotel’s commitment to guest satisfaction and culinary excellence.
Why Guests Love It
What really sets this place apart is how they’ve nailed that balance between being professional and welcoming. The staff genuinely seems to care about making your stay work, and there’s this attention to detail that explains why so many people come back. You’re getting solid four-star quality in a location that punches above its weight, all without the pretentious attitude that sometimes comes with boutique hotels. For Strasbourg, that’s actually pretty hard to find. This hotel delivers exceptional value and service that keeps guests returning year after year for memorable experiences.

Impossibility to open the window properlySuperb – Irene from Canada – 17 June 2025 (9/10)
We were cycling and it was right on our route (EV15). The beds were comfortable. The metro was very close. The downtown and Petite France were within walking distance.
What could be improved: The only place for our bicycles was under the stairs. Not many people take the stairs so they were fine.
Funny story, we took a few minutes to figure out how to open the bathroom door.Thoroughly enjoyed the stay! – Milana from Germany – 16 June 2025 (9/10)
I enjoyed my stay the OKKO Hotel. There was none of the smell people commented on, everything was clean and tidy.
I especially appreciated the bed linen and the blanket – none of your synthetic sweaty stuff, only natural materials for a good night sleep.
I can’t comment on the breakfast as I opted out of it, but the snack bar was great and the coffee was acceptable too.
The neighbourhood of the hotel is quite modern and lively with some really good food and wine places around. All in all I would stay here again.
What could be improved: The way the lights work in the room is a bit weird – it’s either almost all of them or none, which is inconvenient when you’re going to bed.Very good – Jakub from Switzerland – 27 April 2025 (8/10)
Clean, calm and comfortable hotel for overnight stay. Facility has a lot potentials to spent nice time over there.
What could be improved: Average service and breakfast. We took breakfast to go and it was poor. It would be better not to take it and eat breakfast in the coffee shop that is in the same building.Superb – Sao from Sweden – 26 April 2025 (9/10)
