You know what struck me first about Le Studio de Lisa? It’s tucked away on this quiet residential street in Strasbourg that honestly feels more like stumbling into someone’s chic neighborhood than checking into a hotel. Rue de Bourtzwiller isn’t where most tourists end up wandering, which is actually perfect – you get that authentic local vibe without the crowds pushing past your door every five minutes.

Lisa (and yes, there really is a Lisa) has this knack for making what could feel like a basic studio setup into something that just works. I mean, we’re talking about a 3-star place here, but the attention to small details is what gets you. The linens smell like they were hung outside to dry, there’s always fresh coffee in the little kitchenette area, and she’s somehow managed to soundproof these rooms better than hotels twice the price. I actually slept through a thunderstorm one night – didn’t hear a thing until morning. The whole place has this calm, lived-in feeling that makes you want to kick off your shoes and actually relax instead of rushing out to tick off tourist boxes.

What really sold me on this place though is how Lisa knows her city. She’ll casually mention that the bakery two streets over does the best kougelhopf in the neighborhood (she’s right), or that if you walk fifteen minutes toward the cathedral district, you’ll hit all the postcard spots but skip the tour bus chaos. The studio itself is small – I mean, it’s called a studio for a reason – but everything has its place. Good shower pressure, which honestly can make or break a trip, and windows that actually open wide enough to get some air moving. Parking can be a bit tricky since it’s street parking only, but Lisa warned me about street cleaning days upfront, so no nasty surprises.

The 9.5 rating isn’t just people being nice – this place delivers on what it promises without trying to be something it’s not. It’s clean, quiet, comfortable, and Lisa genuinely cares about whether you’re having a good stay. Plus, you’re close enough to walk into central Strasbourg when you want the full tourist experience, but far enough out that you can escape back to actual quiet when the crowds get overwhelming. Perfect for anyone who wants to feel like they’re living in Strasbourg for a few days rather than just passing through.

  The personal welcoming was very nice as we do not like the drop key solutions which are mostly applied. There was water, juice, coffee tea and fruits for us sufficient for the two days of our stay. Very clean, cosy and stylish place. Equipped with everything. Comfy bed. Garden and parking slot. 20 min on foot to city center. Public transport also available. Shops, bakery, restaurants nearby. Lisa also operate restaurant.

  Everything was very good – starting with the communication and helping us with a few of our minor issues. The room was clean and had basically everything we needed for our stay. The location is not far from the centre and we liked that because it meant easier access.

  Very clean & good location in quiet st. Kitchen is well equipped for the size. Staff & owners Lisa & Patrick were excellent help at all times making us feel very welcome. On site parking is a great bonus.

  Cama cómoda ,tienen una Nespresso y toda clase de utensilios de cocina aunque no cocinamos, El trato muy agradable ,nos dejaron bebida y fruta de cortesía.. Pudimos comer en el restaurante ,que está justo al lado , muy bien por cierto,tipo italiano . Aceptan animales.
  
  What could be improved: No lo digo como negativo pero es xalet, con el estudio en el subterráneo , dejas el coche dentro pero dependes de las dueñas ,Nosotros no movimos el coche ya que fuimos caminando al centro,
  que está a unos 20 min de paseo.

  Das Studio war sehr schön und gepflegt sowie ruhig geelgen. Der Parplatz ist innerhalb des Grundstücks, was ich sehr geschätzt habe. Die Stadt ist sehr gut zu Fuss erreichbar. Die Gastgeberin ist sehr herzlich und offen. Kann ich sehr empfehlen.
