But actually staying here? Completely different story. This 4-star spot on Avenue de Colmar is tucked into Neudorf, which honestly feels like the real Strasbourg – you know, where locals actually live and work instead of just the touristy bits around the cathedral. The hammam aspect isn’t just some gimmicky name either; there’s genuinely this spa-like quality to the whole place that hits you the moment you walk in. The apartment setup means you get way more space than your typical hotel room, and I mean, when you’re paying decent money for a place, having somewhere to actually spread out your stuff makes all the difference.

What really got me was how they’ve managed to nail that sweet spot between feeling luxurious and actually being livable. The neighborhood itself is pretty perfect if you ask me – close enough to hop on the tram and be in Grande Île in like fifteen minutes, but far enough out that you’re not dealing with drunk tourists stumbling around at 2 AM. Avenue de Colmar has this nice tree-lined thing going on, and there’s actually decent parking (which, if you’ve ever tried to park in central Strasbourg, you’ll know is basically a miracle). The local bakery is maybe a two-minute walk, and there’s this little market on Thursdays that most visitors never find. The apartment itself feels more like staying at a friend’s place who happens to have really good taste – everything’s clean and modern without being sterile, and honestly, the bathroom situation alone is worth the stay. That whole hammam-inspired design isn’t just for show; the rainfall shower and the heated floors make you want to just hang out there way longer than necessary.

I get why this place scores an 8.9 – it’s one of those spots that just works without any drama. Check-in was straightforward, the WiFi actually functions properly (you’d be surprised how many places mess this up), and the bed situation is solid. The only minor thing I’d mention is that the trams start running pretty early, so if you’re a super light sleeper, maybe pack earplugs. But honestly? After a day of walking around Strasbourg’s cobblestones, you’ll probably sleep through anything. The whole setup just makes sense – it’s got that residential feel that makes you understand how people actually live in this city, while still giving you all the comfort stuff you want when you’re traveling. Plus, being in Neudorf means you’re getting a slice of Strasbourg that most people miss, which I think makes the whole experience more genuine.

  What could be improved: I had to contact the owners about the keys. Why didn't they contact me sooner? When you're travelling somewhere, it's reassuring to know in advance how to enter the property. But the information they sent was excellent.

  Clean, well renovated and modern apartment close to tram and with parking places close to apartment. Huge fridge, modern TV and above all excellent Hammam. Just leave your car and in 20-25’ you are in downtown.
  
  What could be improved: Some smell was coming from bathroom and the Woden floor was making some noice while walking which was a bit annoying during night. Coffee cups were missing despite a nespresso machine being present.
