There’s parking right on site, which is honestly a godsend if you’re driving — anyone who’s tried to park in European city centers knows this is huge. Couples seem to particularly appreciate the setting, and I get why; it’s romantic without being overly touristy.

The Room Experience

My room was larger than I expected, with these beautiful high ceilings that made everything feel airy and bright. The decor strikes this nice balance between traditional French charm and modern comfort — think warm wood tones, quality linens, and thoughtful lighting that actually works for reading. The bathroom was well-appointed, though not enormous, but everything felt fresh and well-maintained. What really impressed me was the attention to detail; little touches like quality toiletries and blackout curtains that actually block light completely.

The breakfast situation is solid — not the most elaborate spread you’ll ever see, but everything is fresh and there’s enough variety to keep you happy. They focus on quality over quantity, which I actually prefer to those overwhelming buffets where half the food sits there getting cold. The restaurant serves dinner too, and while I only ate there once, the food was genuinely good — proper French cooking without the pretension you sometimes get in hotel restaurants. The staff throughout the property is attentive without being hovering, which is a fine line that many places struggle with.

  The appartment was comfortable and well-positioned (we purposely chose it owing to its proximity to the Zenith). My boys loved the shower. The beds were comfortable. Some tea and biscuits were available.
  
  What could be improved: When we arrived the cleaners were still busy, which was a bit surprising. They were very friendly, but we had assumed that by late afternoon the appratment would be ready. It wasn't a problem, just unexpected.
