Look, I’ll be honest – when I first saw the name “Cosy-Rent Appartement de standingparking Neudorf,” I thought it was going to be one of those generic rental places that feels like staying in someone’s hastily cleaned spare room. Boy, was I wrong. This 4-star spot on Rue Edmond Michelet actually lives up to its “standing” promise, and honestly, the 9.1 rating makes total sense once you’ve been there.

The thing about Neudorf is that it’s this perfectly positioned neighborhood that most tourists completely miss – which is actually great for you because you get all the benefits of being in Strasbourg without the crowds stumbling around outside your window at 2 AM. You’re maybe a 10-minute tram ride from the cathedral area, but you’re tucked into this residential pocket where actual Strasbourgeois live their daily lives. There’s this little boulangerie just around the corner where the owner – I think his name was Philippe – makes these incredible pain au chocolat that are still warm at 7 AM. The apartment itself feels more like staying at a friend’s place who happens to have really good taste and, you know what, actually cares about thread count. The kitchen is properly equipped (not just a hot plate and a prayer), and they’ve got that European thing down where everything is compact but somehow still functional. The parking situation – which, let’s face it, is usually a nightmare in European city centers – is actually sorted, which saves you about €20 a day and a lot of frustrated circling around cobblestone streets.

What really got me was the attention to small stuff that matters when you’re actually living somewhere for a few days. The shower has proper water pressure (thank god), there’s enough closet space that you’re not living out of your suitcase, and the Wi-Fi actually works throughout the place – I mean, I was taking video calls from the kitchen without any issues. The area gets pretty quiet after about 9 PM, which is perfect if you’re trying to recover from trudging around museums all day, but it’s not so residential that you feel cut off from everything. There’s this little wine bar about three blocks away called Le Tire-Bouchon where locals hang out, and honestly, I had some of the best Riesling of my life there for like €4 a glass. The tram stop is close enough that you don’t need to plan your route around it, but far enough that you’re not hearing announcements all night. During the Christmas market season – which, let’s be real, is when everyone wants to visit Strasbourg – this place becomes even more valuable because you can escape the madness but still be in the thick of things in minutes.

  The apartment was very spacious and clean. The host was quick to respond and happy to answer all our questions.
  
  What could be improved: A small downside was that we couldn’t figure out how to use the TV, but since we spent most of our time outside, it didn’t affect our stay or impression of the apartment.

  We really liked it! The host was very welcoming, always in touch and gave us all the useful information, even more than necessary. The apartment was excellent for a family, clean, equipped with everything you need and very well located, with connections to all the tourist attractions.   다만 체크인시 제공되는 수건 6세트를4명어 4박 5일을 보내야 했으므로 기간동안 수건세탁에 매일 신경을써야했고 건조기가 없었기때문에 100프로 건조되지 않은 수건을 사용해야 했던점을 감안해서 10점 모두를 드릴수 없습니다 2박이상 투숙객에게 여분의 수건을 더 제공한다면 완벽할것입니다
