Hotel Description
Honestly, “Comme chez vous” translates to “like at home,” and I get why they picked that name the moment you walk through the doors. This place sits on Route d’Oberhausbergen in a quieter part of Strasbourg – you know, far enough from the tourist chaos around the cathedral but close enough that you’re not stranded in the suburbs. The building itself has that understated French elegance thing going on, nothing flashy, just solid and welcoming.
What actually surprised me was how they’ve managed to nail that sweet spot between feeling boutique and still having all the stuff you need. The rooms are genuinely spacious (rare for European hotels, let’s be real), and there’s this attention to detail that you don’t always get at four-star places. I mean, they’ve got proper blackout curtains – the kind that actually work – and the beds are legitimately comfortable, not just decent. The bathrooms are modern without being cold, if that makes sense. You’ll find those little touches that show someone actually thought about what travelers need: good lighting for getting ready, enough plugs near the bed, shower pressure that doesn’t make you want to cry.
The location is actually pretty smart once you figure it out. Sure, you’re not stumbling distance from Petite France, but the tram connections are solid, and honestly? After a day of wandering cobblestones and dodging tour groups, coming back to this quieter neighborhood feels like a win. There’s decent parking too, which anyone who’s tried to navigate Strasbourg’s city center with a rental car will appreciate. The staff seem to genuinely know the area – not just the obvious tourist spots but where locals actually eat and what’s worth your time. I asked about getting to the European Parliament (work trip, don’t judge), and they gave me three different route options depending on timing and what I wanted to see along the way. That 9.4 rating isn’t just people being generous – the service feels personal without being intrusive, and everything just… works. The WiFi doesn’t drop every five minutes, breakfast isn’t a sad continental afterthought, and check-in was smooth even when I showed up earlier than expected. It’s the kind of place where small things are done right, which honestly makes all the difference when you’re tired and just want your hotel to be a comfortable base rather than another thing to figure out.
Early hotels booking in Strasbourg is essential during major events like the Christmas Market, as accommodations fill up quickly with visitors eager to experience the city’s renowned festive atmosphere and Gothic architecture.

Apartment located in a very quiet place on the outskirts of Stuttgart. You can get to the city center in 15 minutes (bus 17 and metro line D – very good connection) the busstop is 2 minutes from the apartment. Also a bakery is 2 minutes from the apartment 🙂 The apartment is clean, well furnished and the owner is very helpful. We recommend.
Fantastic accomodation and a great host. We didn't want to leave. – Nick from United Kingdom – 16 June 2024 (10/10)
We particularly liked our responsive and helpful host; the spacious, well equipped apartment; the location in a quiet neighborhood with easy public transport links into Strasbourg; the municipal, heated outdoor swimming pool ten minutes walk away; the bakery across the road. We had a great stay, would stay here again and recommend it to anyone.
What could be improved: Matress a bit firm for me but this is personal taste and no-one else thought so and it wouldn't stop me returning.Superb – Raluca from France – 26 December 2023 (9/10)
Wonderful and cozy 2 bedroom appartement. Very quiet, warm (we stayed in December) and clean. Spatious and functional, with all the necessary.
Beautiful Christmas markets in and around Strasbourg, also if you can drive an hour to Colmar near by, don't miss it, we loved it !
What could be improved: Small beds.
On the outskirts of Strasbourg, city centre not reachable by foot, but within a short walk (about 9-10 minutes) to the tram station which gets you directly to the city centre, in about 25 minutes. Anyway, during Christmas season, the parking in the city center is not allowed, so the location is quite pratical after all.We chose to stay at Comme Chez Vous based on the good reviews and look of the house. It is located at about 15min drive – David from Mauritius – 26 December 2023 (10/10)
A modern, clean and spacious home that made us feel like home “Comme chez vous”. The host was very communicative and gave us tips when needed and is very friendly. I will certainly come back there again when we return to Strasbourg. Merci Frédéric
Wish that we’d stayed longer – Everett from United States – 21 December 2023 (9/10)

Spacious appartement for our little family, with a big and lovely terrace. Very clean and nicely decorated. Quiet, not on the street side. Comfortable beds. At the outskirts of Strasbourg, but city centre easy reachable, 15-20 min by car.
