Chez Sandrine, mon appartement élégant + parking Overview

First Impressions

Walking up to Chez Sandrine, mon appartement élégant + parking, you immediately get the sense that this isn’t your typical hotel experience — and honestly, that’s exactly what makes it special. Tucked away on Rue du Faubourg-de-Pierre, this four-star property feels more like staying at a sophisticated friend’s place than checking into another generic accommodation. The elegant apartment setup gives you that authentic Strasbourg living experience, which I found way more appealing than being stuck in a standard hotel room.

Location & Neighborhood

The location is genuinely fantastic — I mean, you’re literally in the heart of Strasbourg with everything walkable. What struck me most was how couples seem to absolutely love this spot (they rate it 9.6, which makes total sense when you experience it firsthand). You can stroll to the cathedral in minutes, and the Petite France district is right there when you want those postcard-perfect canal views. The neighborhood has that perfect mix of local life and tourist attractions, so you’re not stuck in some sterile hotel district.

The Apartment Experience

This is where Chez Sandrine really shines — you get a proper apartment with all the space and amenities that make a difference during your stay. The elegant setup lives up to its name, with thoughtful touches that show someone actually cares about the guest experience. Having a real kitchen means you can grab fresh ingredients from the local markets (there’s a great one nearby) and actually cook if you want to. The space feels authentically French without being overly themed, which I appreciated.

Practical Perks

Here’s something that’ll save you both money and headaches — the free private parking is absolutely clutch in Strasbourg. Anyone who’s tried to park in the city center knows what a nightmare it can be, so having your own guaranteed spot is honestly worth its weight in gold. You know what’s also great? The property scored 9.2 for location, and after staying there, I totally get why. Everything you want to see is within walking distance, but you’re not dealing with the noise and chaos of being right on a main tourist strip.

Why Guests Love It

What really sets this place apart is how it combines the best of both worlds — you get the independence and space of having your own apartment, but with the service and attention to detail of an upscale accommodation. The fact that couples consistently rave about it tells you something about the romantic appeal of the location and setup. Plus, when you’re exploring Strasbourg’s incredible food scene and historic sites, having a proper home base like this makes the whole experience feel more authentic and less touristy. It’s one of those places where you actually feel like you’re living in the city rather than just passing through.

Reviews of Chez Sandrine, mon appartement élégant + parking

  • Good location , nice staff – Sankarkumar from Netherlands – 13 July 2025 (8/10)

    Location is great

What could be improved: 4 floors have to climb

  • Superb – Marlen from Germany – 19 May 2025 (9/10)

The apartment was quite spacious and the location was great. Check-in and the communication with the host were quite easy.

What could be improved: The apartment is in the attic and during our stay it got quite hot. As the windows are very small it is hard to cool down the apartment in the night. In the kitchen there were no sharp knifes for pealing or chopping vegetables/fruits.

  • Would definitely recommend as long as you don’t mind some stairs – Lyric from Germany – 23 February 2025 (9/10)

Great location, nice decor, responsive hosts

  • Superb – Veronique from Germany – 12 November 2024 (9/10)

The apartment was very well-located and comfortable.

  • A beautifully designed attic apartment in an excellent location – Kaarina from Canada – 19 September 2024 (9/10)

    Very modern, good location

What could be improved: No place to hang clothes,,
We are very tall and the beams are very low we had to be very careful

  • Clean, well located, charming flat. – Svilen from Germany – 27 August 2024 (9/10)

Five minutes walking from city centre, well equipped and clean apartment. That is what we need for a city trip. Excellent value for money.

What could be improved: We hit very hot days and the first nights were hard to sleep even with an open windows. If AC is not an option because of the building, then maybe one-two fans can help. Also be aware there are some stairs you have to climb to the apartment. If you have problem with that you may want to avoid it

  • Superb – Khawla from United Kingdom – 17 June 2024 (9/10)

The location is great, the flat is very clean. And the bonus is the amazing restaurant in the building.

  • Perfect stay! – Filipp from Netherlands – 26 January 2024 (10/10)

What could be improved: All was good.

  • Very good – Sagit from Israel – 18 January 2024 (8/10)

The owner is great. Very nice and helpful. The apartment is beautiful and renovated.

What could be improved: The apartment is on the 5th floor. No elevator. Stairs are not comfortable

  • Exceptional – Simay from Turkey – 6 December 2023 (10/10)

It was very clean, new and cozy… the location is very close to the city center. It was one of tht best vacation homes that i stayed..
