You know what struck me first about this studio apartment? It’s tucked right into Rue du Faubourg-de-Pierre, which honestly sounds way fancier than it is – but that’s actually part of its charm. This isn’t some tourist-trap location where you’re paying for the postcard view. Instead, you’re dropped into a proper Strasbourg neighborhood where you’ll hear actual French conversations drifting from café terraces and catch the scent of fresh bread from the boulangerie down the street.

The studio itself is… well, it’s exactly what you’d expect from a 3-star place with a 7.3 rating. Not gonna blow your mind, but it gets the job done really well. I mean, you’re literally in the heart of Strasbourg here – I could walk to the cathedral in about fifteen minutes, and the Petite France district (you know, with all those half-timbered houses everyone posts on Instagram) is totally doable on foot. The tram stops nearby too, which saved my legs more than once after long days wandering around. What I really appreciated was how quiet it gets at night, despite being so central. Sure, you’ll hear some street noise during the day, but nothing that kept me awake – and I’m usually pretty sensitive to that stuff.

The apartment has that lived-in European feel that I actually prefer over sterile hotel rooms. There’s a little kitchenette that’s genuinely useful if you want to grab groceries from the Monoprix nearby and save some euros on dining out every meal. The shower has decent pressure (always a gamble in older European buildings), and honestly, the whole place just feels like someone’s actual home that they’re letting you borrow for a few days. It’s not Instagram-perfect, but it’s comfortable and real. Check-in was straightforward – no fancy lobby experience, just practical and efficient. For the price point, especially considering you’re this close to everything that makes Strasbourg worth visiting, it’s a solid choice. I’d definitely stay here again, particularly if I was planning to explore the city properly rather than just checking boxes on a tourist itinerary.

  What could be improved: Owner was very rude. I booked apartment with bath but there were no bath plug. She is saving money for water on guests!!!
  Owner refused to bring it, despite I had kid with disability and bath was only reason why I booked. Appartment is in bad location No food shows around, appartment is tiny dark noisy and CHEAP. If you want to stay at bad place with rude coins saving owner for big money, you can spoil your stay at Strasbourg and choose this place

  – Es war sauber und das Bett war bequem.
  
  What could be improved: – Vor Anreise hatte ich auf Nachfrage die Information erhalten, dass man erhalten, dass man einfach am Straßenrand parken könne. Allerdings kostet das für 3 Stunden 35€.
  – Wir wollten dann woanders parken und die Taschen abstellen, was spontan nicht möglich war.
  – Ich habe sehr schlecht geschlafen, weil es in der Nacht auch bei geschlossenem Fenster sehr laut war. Laute Männerstimmen, alkoholisiert, teils aggressiv anmutend hielten mich wach, obwohl ich wegen der sehr langen Autofahrt wirklich müde war.
  – Die Wohnung verfügt über kein echtes Außenfenster. Es gibt insgesamt nur ein Fenster, das zum überdachten Innenhofflur hinausgeht. Vorbeigehende blicken direkt aufs Bett, trotzdem hat man kaum Tageslicht.

  What could be improved: Era un auténtico zulo. La única ventana da a un pasillo por el que deambula la gente. El acceso por la escalera, para equilibristas, o pasas tú o pasa la maleta. El ascensor es como el de la casa de la familia Monster. La limpieza , muy justita. Desagües a la vista.
