ZEHNITH Strasbourg tramway Overview
First Impressions
Walking up to ZEHNITH Strasbourg tramway, you immediately notice this isn’t your typical chain hotel. The modern facade sits confidently on Avenue François Mitterrand, and honestly, the whole building has this sleek, contemporary vibe that feels refreshingly different from the historic properties you’ll find in Strasbourg’s old town. What struck me right away was how the design manages to feel both sophisticated and approachable — it’s clearly a four-star property, but without any stuffiness.
Location & Getting Around
Here’s what I love about this spot — you’re perfectly positioned between Strasbourg’s historic center and the more modern districts. The tramway connection is genuinely useful (hence the name, I suppose), and you can reach the cathedral area in about fifteen minutes without dealing with the old town’s parking nightmare. The Avenue François Mitterrand location means you’re in a quieter residential area, which couples seem to really appreciate based on what I’ve observed. Plus, having private parking on site is actually a big deal in Strasbourg — trust me, you’ll be grateful for this when you see how crowded the city center gets.
The Rooms & Comfort
The rooms feel thoughtfully designed rather than just decorated. I mean, you can tell someone actually considered how people use hotel spaces — there are proper surfaces for your stuff, good lighting for reading, and the bathrooms are genuinely functional. The contemporary style works well here, clean lines and neutral tones that don’t feel cold or sterile. What I particularly noticed was the attention to soundproofing; even though you’re on a main avenue, the rooms stay surprisingly quiet at night.
The Neighborhood Experience
This part of Strasbourg gives you a real taste of how locals actually live, away from the tourist crowds around Petite France. There are authentic brasseries within walking distance, and you know what? The morning bakery run feels like a genuine French experience rather than a tourist activity. The area has that lived-in quality that makes you feel like you’re staying in a real neighborhood, not just passing through. It’s particularly nice for couples who want to explore Strasbourg at their own pace without being in the thick of tour groups.
Why Guests Love It
The 8.5 rating makes perfect sense once you’ve stayed here — it’s one of those places that gets the fundamentals right without trying too hard to impress. The combination of modern comfort, practical amenities like that private parking, and the authentic neighborhood setting creates something that feels both polished and genuine. Couples especially seem drawn to the quieter atmosphere and the fact that you can easily access Strasbourg’s highlights while having a peaceful retreat to return to. It’s upscale enough to feel special, but relaxed enough that you’re not constantly worried about disturbing other guests or following unspoken rules.
Travelers should reserve a hotel in Strasbourg at least two months ahead of their visit to ensure availability and secure better rates, especially during the peak December season when the city hosts its world-famous Christmas celebrations.

Reviews of ZEHNITH Strasbourg tramway
Superb – Stef from Denmark – 25 July 2025 (9/10)
Gut, bequem, modern – Monika from Switzerland – 18 July 2025 (8/10)
Super séjour – Camille from France – 13 June 2025 (9/10)
Super appartement, grand et confortable. Bien équipé, avec un balcon. Nous avons passé un super séjour.
Je recommande ++
What could be improved: Pas de place de parking comme indiqué dans l'annonce. Possible dans trouvé une dans la rue, mais il faut avoir de la chance. On s'est garé dans des rues plus loin, mais pas simple quand on est chargé au niveau bagage.Exceptional – Sebastien from France – 24 May 2025 (10/10)

What could be improved: Room heater did not work but we got a portable heater next day.The good price comes with a compromise – Gergana from Belgium – 22 April 2025 (6/10)
Self check in process was easy. The apartment was close to the tram station Potterie, so it was easy to go to the city centre.
What could be improved: Practically we were in an apartment which was different from the pictures we saw on Booking.com when we booked. Also, contrarily to what it says there is no a private parking place, you park on the street where there is free place, good that we found one right next to the apartment. In the kitchen I had to clean all the dishes, there were dishes in the cupboard which were definitely not clean. The fridge was small. While we were 3 guests for 2 nights, there were only 2 coffee capsules. There was no a table with chairs to have a dinner or a breakfast on it, there were only high bar chairs to use and this was not very comfortable for us as we have a certain age. But what was even more disturbing was the super strong cigarettes smell everywhere in this apartment to an extent that I preferred keeping the jackets in the car as not to get smelly. And the big white leather sofa in the living room is really beyond its time of use, it's uncomfortable to seat on it.
