Look, I’ll be honest – when I first saw the name “Très beau trois pièces avec vue dégagée,” I thought, okay, someone’s trying really hard here. But you know what? They actually deliver on that promise. This place sits right on Rue Christophe Thomas Walliser in Strasbourg’s newer residential area, and that “vue dégagée” (clear view) they’re talking about is legit – no joke, you can see clear across the city from the main windows.

The apartment itself feels more like staying at a well-traveled friend’s place than a typical hotel setup. It’s got that lived-in comfort without being messy, if that makes sense. The three rooms are laid out in this really practical way – I mean, you’re not bumping into furniture or squeezing past doorways like in some of those cramped European places. The kitchen actually has counter space (thank god), and honestly, the view from there while you’re making morning coffee is pretty spectacular. You’re looking out over Strasbourg’s mix of old and new architecture, with the cathedral spires visible in the distance on clear days. The living area has these big windows that let in tons of light – probably why that 8.9 rating makes sense, because natural light can make or break a place.

What I really appreciated was how quiet it gets at night. Rue Christophe Thomas Walliser isn’t one of those main thoroughfares where you’re hearing delivery trucks at 6 AM, but you’re still close enough to everything that matters. The Neudorf area has really grown on me over the years – it’s got this authentic neighborhood feel without being touristy, and there’s a decent bakery about two blocks down that locals actually go to. Parking was surprisingly manageable too, which… well, if you’ve tried parking in central Strasbourg, you know that’s saying something. The tram connection is solid – you can get to Petite France or the main train station without any hassle, maybe 15-20 minutes depending on connections. Check-in was smooth, none of that awkward key-exchange dance you sometimes get with apartment rentals. The whole experience felt more polished than your average three-star spot, actually. Sure, it’s not going to have a concierge or room service, but when you’re getting authentic Strasbourg living with that kind of view and space to spread out, it’s honestly a pretty sweet deal for the price point.

  Ce lieu respire le luxe et le raffinement, à l’image de sa propriétaire, une personne d’une grande élégance et d’une gentillesse rare.
