What I loved most was coming back in the evenings to this quieter neighborhood after spending days in the tourist-heavy old town. You get the best of both worlds: easy access to everything, but you’re staying where real Strasbourgeois live and work.

Local Neighborhood Feel

The Avenue de Colmar area surprised me with how much was within walking distance. There’s a decent supermarket nearby, a few casual bistros that don’t feel like tourist traps, and you know what — it’s just nice to walk around an area where you hear more French than English.
