What really sold me on this place, though, is the location intelligence. See, most visitors to Strasbourg get stuck in hotels near the cathedral and then spend half their time figuring out public transport. This spot? You’re literally a two-minute walk from both the C and E tram lines, and that 15-minute direct shot to the European Parliament isn’t just marketing speak – I timed it. Plus, being on Rue du Bassin d’Austerlitz means you’re surrounded by actual Strasbourg life. There’s a fantastic bakery called Boulangerie du Bassin right around the corner (their pain aux raisins is ridiculous), and you’re close enough to the university district that there are proper restaurants and bars, not just tourist traps. The 24/7 check-in thing is genuinely helpful too – I arrived on a delayed train at nearly midnight, and the whole keycode system worked perfectly without having to wake anyone up or scramble for contact numbers. The area gets a bit lively on weekend nights since students hang out nearby, but it’s more cheerful buzz than obnoxious noise, and honestly, good earplugs solve most travel accommodation issues anyway.   L’hôte est très disponible , l’appartement est conforme à la description et les clés m’ont été remise avant l’heure.
