Honestly, when I first walked into this place on Avenue des Vosges, I wasn’t expecting much – the name is a bit of a mouthful, and apartment rentals can be hit or miss. But wow, this spacious F5 really surprised me. We’re talking 125 square meters here, which means you actually have room to spread out your stuff without living out of a suitcase for your entire stay.

The location is what really sold me though. Avenue des Vosges puts you right in that sweet spot where you’re close enough to walk to Petite France (maybe 15 minutes if you don’t get distracted by the shops), but you’re not dealing with the tourist chaos right outside your window. I mean, you can actually sleep in without being woken up by tour groups at 7 AM. The tram connections are solid too – Line A is your friend here, and you’ll figure that out pretty quickly if you want to hop around the city without dealing with parking headaches.

What I really appreciated was the space itself. Five rooms means you’re not tripping over each other if you’re traveling with family or friends, and there’s something to be said for having a proper kitchen when you want to grab some fresh stuff from the Marché des Bateliers and actually cook a decent meal. The 4-star rating feels about right – it’s comfortable and well-maintained without being fancy for fancy’s sake. You know what struck me most? The little details that show someone actually thought about what travelers need. Enough outlets in useful places, decent Wi-Fi that doesn’t cut out every ten minutes, and – this might sound silly – but enough hangers in the closets.

The 8.1 rating makes sense when you factor in the whole package. It’s not perfect (the check-in process was a bit confusing, and I wish they’d been clearer about where to park), but honestly, for the space you get and the neighborhood you’re in, it’s pretty solid value. Strasbourg can be pricey, especially during Christmas market season when everyone and their cousin wants to visit, so having this much room without paying resort prices feels like winning the lottery. Just don’t expect hotel-style daily housekeeping – this is more like borrowing a really nice local apartment, which honestly I prefer anyway.

  Great location just far enough outside of downtown to find parking but close enough to walk into the centre-ville. The apartment had plenty of room and beds for everyone. The hot water never ran out!

  Le logement était très grand,
  Avec beaucoup de lit même plus que nécessaire les deux toilettes sont un plus aussi et la cuisine bien équipé.

  Grand appartement propre et bien équipé.
  Pièces spacieuses.
  Zone et Immeuble calmes.
  Proche des grands axes ainsi que du centre-ville (15 minutes à pied)
  Commerces et transports en commun à proximité.
  Suivi et contacts avec le propriétaire très agréables.
  Celui-ci répond rapidement à toutes les questions et fait le maximum pour satisfaire les occupants.
  
  What could be improved: Une seule salle de bain peut s'avérer un peu insuffisante si un groupe plus important (nous étions 6) y séjourne.
  
  Le prix du stationnement dans la rue et aux alentours est abusif (toute la zone est la plus chère) mais c'est un problème qui ne dépend du propriétaire. Il y a des parkings à prix acceptable à distance.

  Die Ferienwohnung ist sehr schön, gut ausgestattet und groß, auch die Küche lässt keine Wünsche offen. Wir haben diese ausgewählt weil wir drei getrennte Schlafzimmer wollten. Es handelt um eine Altbauwohnung. Die Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin war unkompliziert. Zwar erfolgt diese in französisch, jedoch ist eine Übersetzung mit moderner Technik kein Problem mehr…. wenn wir Fragen oder Probleme hatten erfolgte die Antwort bzw. Beseitigung stets sehr kurzfristig.
  Bis in die Altstadt haben wir zu Fuß ca. 20 Minuten benötigt. Parkplätze sind in der Nähe vorhanden, tagsüber jedoch gebührenpflichtig. Ein kostenloser Parkplatz ist fußläufig ca 20 Minuten entfernt.
  
  What could be improved: Die Wohnung befindet sich im dritten Stock. Es gibt einen Aufzug, jedoch nicht durchgängig. Von der Straße bis zum Fahrstuhl müssen ca. 10 – 15 Stufen überwunden werden, von dem Aufzug zur Wohnung nochmal ca 10 Stufen. Das ist nicht dramatisch aber wenn jemand Probleme hat mit dem Laufen ist die Wohnung eher ungeeignet.
  
  Es handelt sich um einen Altbau. Wie üblich entstehen hier beim Laufen durch die Zimmer die üblichen Knarrgeräusche. Sollte jemand geräuschempfindlich sein sollte man sich eine Buchung überlegen.

  המיקום מצוין. דירת 5 חדרים מאוד מאובזרת, יש מכונת כביסה, מדיח כלים וכל כלי המטבח שצריך. יש מעלית קטנה. חניה ברחוב חינם בשעות הערב 19-9 (יתר הזמן-בתשלום). מרחק הליכה ממרכז העיר.

  Geräumige Unterkunft für Reisen mit Freunden/Familie, inklusive "Wohnzimmer". Die Unterkunft ist nicht supernah an den Sights, aber wenn man will, kann man alles zu Fuß erledigen, auch der Bahnhof ist leicht erreichbar. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet und es war auch alles sauber.
  
  What could be improved: Nichts Schlimmes. Die Zimmer nach vorne sind wegen der Straße eher laut. Und für den Preis ist die Wohnung jetzt auch nicht besonders liebevoll oder luxuriös eingerichtet. Es ist eben "funktional". Geht aber in Ordnung.
