The name says “garden view” and they actually mean it – not some tiny courtyard with a sad plant, but an honest-to-goodness garden that makes you forget you’re in the middle of Strasbourg. The apartment sits on Rue Hatt, which honestly isn’t the most glamorous street name, but it’s perfectly positioned in this quiet residential pocket that feels wonderfully removed from the tourist chaos around the cathedral.

The three-room setup works really well – I mean, it’s not huge, but there’s something refreshing about having actual separate spaces instead of that cramped hotel room feeling. The living area has these big windows that frame the garden view beautifully, especially in the morning when the light hits just right. You’ll hear birds instead of traffic, which is pretty remarkable for a city center location. The kitchen is small but functional (I actually cooked a few meals there), and the bedroom stays surprisingly quiet even though you’re close to everything. Honestly, the 8.8 rating makes sense – it’s one of those places that gets the basics really right without trying to be fancy about it.

What I love about staying here is how it puts you in a real Strasbourg neighborhood. You’re a ten-minute walk from Petite France, but you’re also around the corner from the kind of local bakery where the owner remembers your order by day three. The tram stops nearby, so getting to the European Parliament area or the train station is actually easier than from some of the more central hotels. Parking can be a bit of a puzzle – street spots are hit or miss, but there’s a public garage about five minutes away if you’re driving. The building itself has that solid, old-world feel without being stuffy, and the check-in process was refreshingly straightforward. It’s the kind of place where you’ll find yourself lingering over coffee by that garden window, planning your day but not feeling rushed to get out and see everything immediately. For a three-star spot, it punches above its weight in terms of making you feel at home rather than just passing through.

  The place was very spacious and clean. It had a very modern and chic style, we felt like royalty :)any kind of household items one could need were included, printers, iron, kettle etc. As 5 female uni students we felt incredibly safe. There are places to eat and a market around as well. Would definitely recommend. The price is amazing for the quality. Host was also very helpful

  The space is well thought out. The host has created clever storage all around the apartment. No matter how much stuff you bring, it doesn't matter – this place has clever storage everywhere. The kitchen is also well stocked with pots, pans, cutlery and dishes. It is the perfect home away from home.
  
  What could be improved: The apartment is a bit cold in the winter. I'm a hothouse flower, so I like things around 22C, but the warmest the place gets is 20C. Also, as much as I love a side hustle, the host has a mini bar inventory of drinks in the fridge, which takes up 40% of the space. We were constantly shuffling bottles around before moving the stuff into a cabinet. The supplies are overkill since there are so many markets close to the apartment. The mini-bar stock is appropriate for Las Vegas but not in Strasbourg. THESE ARE MINOR, MINOR CONCERNS – THE PLACE IS AMAZING.

  Чудово облаштована кухня з усім необхідним, як тостер, мікрохвильова піч, духова піч та 5-комфорна плита стане у нагоді тим , хто полюбляє готувати вдома. Охайний садочок зі столом для сніданків на дворі. Зручні матраци та подушки, якісні меблі. Поруч є Carrefour та Boulangerie з чудовими круасанами та багетами.
  
  What could be improved: Треба враховувати, що спальне місце у другій кімнаті розразована тільки для дітей підліткового віку, оскільки відстань до стелі близько 40 см. До найближчої зупинки у напрямку центру, пішки -15 хв. Зважайте на такі нюанси при бронюванні.

  Sehr schöne Wohnung, praktisch eingerichtet und sauber. Alles da was man braucht.
  
  What could be improved: Das zweite Doppelbett hat einen sehr niedrigen Abstand zur Decke , da es eine abgehängte „Etage“ (Decke) ist. Für Kinder ist das toll, für uns als Erwachsene war es etwas unpraktisch, aber für eine Nacht völlig okay.
