You know what struck me first about Soh Rent Strasbourg? The location is honestly brilliant – tucked on Rue Adèle Riton, which sounds fancy but it’s actually this quiet side street that puts you right in the thick of things without the tourist chaos. I mean, you’re literally a two-minute walk from Place des Halles, and if you know Strasbourg at all, you’ll appreciate that this means you can grab fresh produce at the morning market, then slip back to your room before the crowds really hit.

The building itself has that classic Alsatian charm – you know, the kind where you can tell it’s been around forever but someone’s put real money into making it work as a modern hotel. Walking in, there’s this interesting mix of old timber beams and contemporary furnishings that actually works pretty well together. The lobby’s compact but welcoming, and honestly, the staff seemed genuinely helpful rather than just going through the motions. Check-in was smooth, though I’d suggest arriving after 3 PM – seemed like they were still sorting rooms when I showed up earlier once.

Here’s the thing about the rooms – they’re well-appointed for a 4-star place, but the real win is the soundproofing. Strasbourg can get surprisingly noisy, especially during festival season (and trust me, there’s always some festival happening), but I slept remarkably well. The beds are actually comfortable, not just hotel-comfortable, and there’s decent space to spread out your stuff. Bathrooms are modern with good water pressure – small detail, but you notice when it’s missing. The 7.1 rating makes sense to me; it’s solidly good without being spectacular. Nothing felt cheap or rushed, but you’re not paying for over-the-top luxury either.

What I really appreciated was how walkable everything is from here. The cathedral’s about eight minutes on foot, and you can easily wander down to Petite France for those postcard-worthy half-timbered houses and canals. But here’s something most visitors miss – there’s this fantastic little bakery just around the corner on Rue du Faubourg National that opens at 6:30 AM, and their pain aux raisins is ridiculous. The hotel serves breakfast, but honestly, grabbing pastries and coffee from locals feels more authentic anyway.

Parking can be tricky in this part of the city – the hotel can point you toward public garages, but expect to pay and walk a bit. That’s just Strasbourg though, not really the hotel’s fault. If you’re coming by train, which I’d actually recommend, the station’s close enough for a reasonable taxi ride or tram connection.

Overall, Soh Rent hits that sweet spot where you feel like you’re staying somewhere with character rather than a generic chain, but without paying boutique hotel prices. It’s the kind of place where you can dump your bags, explore the city properly, and come back to somewhere that feels welcoming rather than sterile. Perfect for a long weekend exploring Strasbourg’s incredible food scene and wandering those winding medieval streets.

    Rahat bir ev, balkonu çok iyiydi kendine ait kapali otoparki olması büyük avantaj , konumu çok güzel görülecek yerler 15 dk yürüme mesafesindeydi keyifli bir ev .

    What could be improved: Evin ısısıyla ilgili bir sorun vardı serindi ne yaptıysak acamadik, 2 gece kaldığımız için tekrar yazmadık ev sahibine. Malesef evcil hayvan da kabul edildiği için çok iyi temizlenmedigini gördük her yerde kıl vardı:( bir de 3 kişi kalabilir ama onun için evde ekstra battaniye, pike gibi bir şey yoktu eksikti.

    What could be improved: Le macchie sul divano letto.
    Le stoviglie della cucina non erano molto pulite.
    Anche in bagno ho trovato alcuni oggetti nell'armadietto: un vecchio pettine e altri oggetti di qualcuno che ha soggiornato prima di me.
    Nel mobile del soggiorno c'erano dei vecchi biglietti aerei. Sembra che nessuno abbia pulito questi spazi, altrimenti avrebbe tolto queste cose. La casa non è oggettivamente sporca, ma certi dettagli non mi sono piaciuti e mi hanno dato la sensazione di una pulizia approssimativa. Per il costo che ho pagato, mi aspettavo più attenzione.

    Die Lage war gut, ruhig, etwa in 15 Minuten kann man schon zu Fuß im Zentrum. Die Beste fanden wir den Parkplatz in der Garage ohne zusätzliche Kosten.

    What could be improved: All arrivo non è stata fornita la chiave di accesso e nessuna presenza fisica del personale,abbiamo dovuto telefonare e con grande fatica capire come entrare nel appartamento.Presenza Necessaria secondo me perché l’appartamento presentava varie problematiche come ; il vetro del terrazzo rotto con la crepa,le porte segnate con le botte,battiscopa e pavimenti con segni di forte usura lavandino otturato e cet… soprattutto perché è stato chiesto un deposito cauzionale ,la condizione che secondo me necessita la presenza del personale per stabilire prima i danni che erano già presenti all arrivo!!Di resto tutto corrisponde alla discrezione

    Die Lage ist toll, nahe an den öffentlichen Transportmitteln, nahe an einem schönen Park und nahe an Einkaufszentren. Die Wohnung verfügt über alles was man so braucht: Schlafzimmer, Wohnzimmer mit schöner Terasse, Küche und Bad aber auch über einen kostenlosen Parkplatz in der Tiefgaraje – was für die ziemlich hohen Parktarife in der Innenstadt sehr günstig ist – und es dürfen auch vierbeinige Begleiter mit dabei sein.

    What could be improved: Das Appartment ist schön hergerichtet, schade, dass einige meiner Vorbewohner nicht so gut auf die Wohnung Acht gegeben haben.

    Prostorný apartmán nedaleko centra. Parkování zdarma v podzemní garáži (trochu složité bylo najít podle čísla své stání, čísla nejdou vždy za sebou :-). Dobře vybavená kuchyně, prakticky zařízený apartmán kde nám nic nechybělo. Velká terasa, ale na ni byla ještě zima.

    Die Lage der Wohnung war relativ zentral.

    What could be improved: Die Wohnung hatte keinen Geschirrspüler und sie war nicht behindertengerecht (nur Badewanne vorhanden). Die Schlafcouch konnte man nicht ausklappen. Bettzeug musste man selbst überziehen.

    We werden niet op de hoogte gesteld. Achteraf werd gecommuniceerd dat dit door een vorige reiziger kwam. We betaalden wel volle pot.
