The building itself has that classic Strasbourg charm — you know, the kind where centuries-old stonework meets modern sensibilities without trying too hard. Honestly, the name says it all; they’ve managed to create something that feels more like staying at a stylish friend’s place than checking into a typical hotel. The entrance is understated but welcoming, and there’s this immediate sense that you’ve found something special tucked away in the old quarter.

Location & Neighborhood

Here’s the thing about the location — it’s absolutely perfect, and I mean that without exaggeration. You’re literally in the heart of historic Strasbourg, surrounded by those gorgeous half-timbered houses and cobblestone streets that make this city so enchanting. The cathedral is just a few minutes’ walk away, and you can easily stroll to Petite France or the European Quarter depending on your mood. What I really love is that despite being so central, Rue des Juifs itself is relatively quiet — you get all the benefits of being in the thick of things without the constant tourist chaos right outside your window.

The Room Experience

The room I stayed in was thoughtfully designed with a mix of contemporary furnishings and subtle nods to Alsatian heritage. Everything felt carefully chosen rather than just ordered from a hotel catalog, if you know what I mean. The bed was genuinely comfortable — not just hotel-marketing comfortable — and the bathroom had this nice rainfall shower that actually worked properly. Storage space was adequate, though not excessive, and there were plenty of charging points scattered around (always a relief when you’re traveling with multiple devices). The windows opened onto the street, giving you those authentic city sounds without being overwhelming.

Dining & Amenities

While My HOME doesn’t have its own restaurant, this actually works in your favor because you’re surrounded by some of Strasbourg’s best dining options. The staff genuinely knows the neighborhood and can point you toward everything from traditional winstubs to modern bistros just steps away. Breakfast is served in a cozy common area that maintains that home-like atmosphere — it’s continental style but done well, with local touches that show they care about quality. The whole setup encourages you to get out and explore rather than hiding away in hotel amenities, which honestly suits Strasbourg perfectly.

  This was a beautiful place to stay for our group of four friends for three nights in Strasbourg. The location is perfect, the amenities were great, it was spacious and had everything we needed in the kitchen. The host was lovely and very helpful.
  
  What could be improved: Minor issues, nothing serious. One of the showers didn’t drain well, and some of the beds weren’t super comfortable (two were sofa beds). This wasn’t a big deal though, we would still recommend staying here.

  L’appartement est idéalement placé, refait à neuf, avec 5 chambres indépendantes dont une avec trois lits simples. Il dispose de deux WC dont un indépendant.Bien isolé, au deuxième étage, on ne perçoit pas le bruit de la rue. Les deux douches à l’italienne sont très spacieuses. Une grande table dans le séjour peut accueillir 9 personnes. Un grand réfrigérateur, un four, un micro-ondes et un lave-vaisselle équipent la cuisine. Le linge de maison est fourni et nous avons apprécié la présence de torchons, de papier toilette, d’huile, de vinaigre et d’autres attentions à notre arrivée. La communication avec Tania est rapide et aisée.
  
  What could be improved: La cuisine est bien équipée en appareils électroménagers mais il manque un peu de vaisselle (pas de grands bols pour le petit-déjeuner, pas de carafe pour l’eau, pas d’ouvre-boîte, pas beaucoup de plats… Le nombre d’oreillers était insuffisant à notre arrivée mais nous avons eu d’autres deux jours après. L’écoulement d’un lavabo était défectueux.Des rangements seraient bienvenus dans la salle de bains commune aux deux chambres.

  What could be improved: Couettes des petits lits sur les grands lits
  Tous les lits n’étaient pas faits à notre arrivée et il manquait certains draps, l’hôte a dû revenir pour nous amener un drap house.
  1 des chambres est un canapé lit.
  Au vu du prix,c’est assez décevant.

  Lots of space. Good shower and kitchen, comfortable beds. On a lovely street with shops, bakeries and bars but not crowded or noisy. We all slept well. We explored the city on foot easily from the apartment.

  Eine sehr schöne Wohnung im Herzen von Strassburg, sehr komfortabel und perfekt ausgestattet. Wir haben unsere Zeit in dieser Wohnung sehr genossen; vor allem den nettesten Kontakt und Kommunikation mit der Gastgeberin. Alle unsere Fragen und Bedürfnissen wurden sofort angegangen.   Geräumige Wohnung, zentrale Lage mit gut ausgestatteter Küche. Fußläufig ist somit das gesamte Zentrum zu erreichen. Sehr schnelle und freundliche Kommunikation. Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt.
  
  What could be improved: Etwas mehr Ablagefläche/Anhänger im Bad sowie ein Seifenspender in der Dusche wären super. Der TV stürzte mehrmals ab (Internet).
