You know what struck me first about Logis 18 Rose? It’s tucked away on Rue de Boersch in this quieter pocket of Strasbourg that most tourists completely miss – which is honestly part of its charm. I mean, you’re still close enough to walk to Petite France in about fifteen minutes, but you’re not dealing with the constant stream of tour groups that seem to plague the hotels right in the historic center. The building itself has that understated Alsatian character without trying too hard to be quaint, if that makes sense. It’s a solid 3-star that doesn’t pretend to be something it’s not, and there’s something refreshing about that approach.

The rooms are actually quite comfortable – nothing fancy, but they’ve got this lived-in warmth that I appreciated after a long day of wandering around the city. The beds are proper firm (thank goodness), and honestly, the shower pressure was better than some 4-star places I’ve stayed at in Paris. What really won me over though was how genuinely helpful the staff were with local recommendations. They pointed me toward this little winstub just a few blocks away that I never would have found otherwise – the kind of place where locals go for their choucroute and the wine list focuses on small Alsatian producers. The neighborhood itself comes alive in the evenings when people are heading home from work, and there’s something nice about feeling like you’re staying somewhere real rather than in a tourist bubble.

Look, I’ll be straight with you – this isn’t going to be the most Instagram-worthy hotel you’ve ever stayed at, and if you’re the type who needs a concierge and room service, you might want to look elsewhere. But if you want a decent base for exploring Strasbourg without paying premium prices for being right next to the cathedral, Logis 18 Rose makes a lot of sense. The 7.7 rating feels about right – it’s doing the fundamentals well without any major surprises, good or bad. Plus, there’s actually parking available (which, trust me, is not a given in Strasbourg), and you’re close enough to the tram line that getting around is pretty effortless. It’s the kind of place I’d book again without hesitation, especially if I was planning to spend most of my time out exploring rather than lounging around the hotel.

  What could be improved: Didn't noticed in the description that towels, linens and sheets are for extra charge, as well as cleaning (it is not mentioned btw). My fault, didn't expect that. There is also an additional deposit of 150€ (also missed in the description ) The host told me about the deposit immediately after booking, ok. About the rest I was reminded (with the prices specified; btw, 40€ for cleaning) only after I paid for the room (non-refundable).
  
  The room is under the roof, if you're taller than 180cm keep your head down almost all the time. There is also a very tiny shower.
  
  Summary. If you are of normal height, this is a good room. If you read the description and checked out the details and they fit you, this is a very good room.

  situation idéale pour laisser sa voiture dans la rue (parking gratuit) et rejoindre le centre historique en tram en très peu de temps (10 min à pied pour aller au tram+ 3 stations). lit très confortable et linge de lit sentant bon le propre. propriétaires sur place très disponibles et bienveillants. appartement très lumineux en dernier étage; Quartier résidentiel très calme et agréable.
  
  What could be improved: pour les personnes qui souhaiteraient prendre les repas, je n ai vu qu'un micro onde; Mais nous avons toujours pris nos repas en centre ville donc aucun souci pour nous. Tout était parfait pour y prendre le petit déjeuner.

  Schöne gemütliche Dachwohnung in einem ruhigen Wohnviertel. Wir sind freundlich vom Hausherrn empfangen worden und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Bäcker und Bushaltestelle ca. 5 Gehminuten entfernt. Immer wieder gerne!

  Помешкання знаходиться недалеко від центру та достатньо близько від трамвайної і автобусної зупинок. Чисто.
  
  What could be improved: 40€ за прибирання це дуже дорого. Ми в помешканні тільки спали і снідали, тому воно лишилося майже в тому вигляді, як і при заїзді. Платна постільна білизна і рушники теж великий мінус.
  Заїзд з 16.00 теж мінус (всюди з 14.00). В день заселення ми годину не могли потрапити в помешкання, так як вдома нікого не було, а де взяти ключ ми заздалегідь проінформовані не були.
