Hotel Description
You know what struck me first about LIFE VOYAGE & SPA? The location is absolutely perfect – and I mean that in the most practical way possible. Rue de la Mésange is this narrow, cobblestoned street that feels quintessentially Strasbourg, but you’re literally a two-minute walk from Place Kléber (the main square where everything happens). I’ve stayed at places that claim to be “city center” and you end up hiking twenty minutes to find decent coffee, but here you’re genuinely in the thick of things without the tourist trap chaos.
The spa element isn’t just a fancy name either – they’ve actually got this really well-designed wellness area that doesn’t feel cramped like so many city hotels. I honestly wasn’t expecting much from a 4-star property, but the facilities are more like what you’d find at those 5-star places that charge double. The staff seems to actually know Strasbourg too, which is rarer than you’d think. When I asked about getting to Petite France early to avoid crowds, the guy at reception gave me this whole insider route that completely avoided the main tourist streams.
What really won me over though – and this might sound silly – is how they handle the whole Alsatian identity thing. So many hotels in Strasbourg either go full-on Germanic kitsch or pretend the regional culture doesn’t exist, but LIFE VOYAGE strikes this nice balance. The design has these subtle nods to local craftsmanship without feeling like you’re sleeping in a theme park. Plus, breakfast actually includes proper Alsatian specialties alongside the usual international stuff, and they source from local producers (I spotted items from the Saturday market at Place du Marché aux Poissons).
The rooms are well-insulated too, which matters more than people realize in this part of the old town. Those beautiful cobblestone streets can echo like crazy, especially when the trams start running early morning, but I slept perfectly. Parking is handled through a partnership with a nearby garage – not free, but honestly, that’s just Strasbourg reality, and at least they’ve sorted out the logistics for you.
One small thing that impressed me: they seem to understand their international guests without losing their local character. The concierge had great recommendations for both the obvious spots (Cathedral, obviously) and some genuinely local haunts in the Krutenau district that I never would have found otherwise. That 9-star rating makes total sense when you experience how smoothly everything runs – it’s not flashy luxury, but it’s that smart, thoughtful hospitality that makes you want to come back.

What could be improved: -parking situation a little difficultNice stays in Strasbourg – 그린로봇힘내 from South Korea – 8 June 2025 (10/10)
I think this apartment is a nice choice for families visiting Strasbourg. It’s actually quite hard to find a hotel room in the center of Strassbourg that can accommodate a family together, so this place was a perfect fit.
The room was spacious, modern-styled, and well-equipped. Its location in the old town made sightseeing easy and enjoyable. In addition, staffs were also very responsive and quick to assist whenever I needed.
Furthermore, it includes a bath and sauna, which was a nice bonus. Everything was tidy and well maintained.
What could be improved: Just a couple of things to comment. There’s no complimentary drinking water provided, so it is better to pick some bottle of water from a nearby supermarket beforehand. Also, when I used the electric oven at the morning, there was a event that the power on our entire floor went out. So I checked the fuse box myself. Therefore, apartment team would want to look into, just to prevent similar surprises for future guests.Luxurious 2 bedroom apartment – Lihui from United States – 3 June 2025 (10/10)
We spent 2 nights in this 2 bedrooms apartment. It has exceeded our expectations in almost every aspect. Very luxurious equipped, with a large 2 person whirlpool bath tub in the main bedroom. There are 2 rain shower systems in the shower, good for 2 persons shower at the same time. There is a sauna room too that we didn’t use. The beds are very comfortable. The location is excellent too, in the center of the city, walking distance to all the sights

If there were 10 stars, I would give 10 stars. When we couldn't find the hotel, Virginie ran to pick us up from where we were waiting in a second. She was in constant communication. Sauna, jacuzzi and a wonderfully comfortable room. You can't find a single flaw. The location is very good. Thank you for everything.❤❤
Excellent host, beautiful apartment and great experience – Leanne from United Kingdom – 22 February 2025 (10/10)
The host was excellent. Virgine went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. She met us to give the door codes, made sure we had extra towels & gowns and checked on us throughout the stay. She surprised us with bottles of fizz in each apartment fridge. The apartment itself was even prettier in person than pictures. It was well maintained, the sauna and jacuzzi were great.
Location wise, it's right next to a main square, next to a metro and walking distance to petite France and the cathedral.
What could be improved: Honestly it was perfect. My only advice would be to differentiate the names of the apartments on booking.com to tell the difference between eachExceptional – Žarko from Serbia – 16 January 2025 (10/10)
Location is excellent and the apartment is very nice and clean
Superb – Mario from United States – 2 January 2025 (9/10)
Great location. Nice apartment.
What could be improved: A bit too avant-garde with a sauna in the unit, and a tub in the bedroom.
