LIFE RENAISSANCE – New Concept – Place Kléber Overview
First Impressions
Walking into LIFE RENAISSANCE – New Concept – Place Kléber honestly feels like stepping into something special. This four-star property sits right on Place Kléber — and I mean right on it — which is basically the beating heart of Strasbourg. The lobby has this modern, sophisticated vibe that immediately tells you they’ve put serious thought into the redesign. You know what struck me most? How they’ve managed to blend contemporary style with the classic Alsatian charm that makes this city so unique. The attention to detail throughout the public spaces reflects a genuine commitment to creating an inviting atmosphere.
The Location Advantage
I’ve stayed in a lot of places around Strasbourg, but this spot is genuinely unbeatable. Place Kléber is where everything happens — the Christmas markets set up right outside your window, the trams connect you to everywhere you need to go, and the old town’s cobblestone streets are literally a two-minute walk away. Couples seem to get this immediately (they rate the location 9.8, which honestly doesn’t surprise me at all). The cathedral is so close you can hear the bells, and those charming petite France canals? Maybe a five-minute stroll through the pedestrian zone. It’s the kind of location that transforms your entire visit to the city.
Sleep Quality That Actually Delivers
Here’s something that really matters when you’re dealing with jet lag or just exhausted from wandering around all day — the beds are genuinely comfortable. I mean, hotel beds can be hit or miss, but these ones actually live up to the hype. The room I stayed in had blackout curtains that work (thank goodness), and the soundproofing is surprisingly good considering you’re right in the city center. You’d think being on such a busy square would mean noise issues, but they’ve clearly invested in proper windows and insulation. The overall sleeping environment is remarkably peaceful.
Practical Perks
What I really appreciated was the on-site parking — finding a spot in central Strasbourg can be a real headache, especially during peak tourist season or when there’s some festival happening (which is pretty often, actually). The staff seems to know their stuff about the city too, which is refreshing. They gave me solid recommendations for restaurants that weren’t just the obvious tourist traps, and their tips about timing visits to the cathedral and European Parliament were spot-on. These practical touches make a real difference in your stay.
Why Guests Love It
The whole “new concept” thing isn’t just marketing speak — they’ve clearly rethought how a business hotel should work in a historic city center. The design feels fresh without being sterile, and the location really can’t be beat if you want to experience Strasbourg properly. I’d definitely come back, especially knowing I can park easily and walk to pretty much everything worth seeing. For couples exploring the city, this place hits that sweet spot between modern comfort and authentic Alsatian atmosphere that’s honestly pretty hard to find. It’s a destination worth returning to.
Early hotels booking in Strasbourg is essential during major events like the Christmas Market, as accommodations fill up quickly with visitors eager to experience the city’s renowned festive atmosphere and Gothic architecture.

Reviews of LIFE RENAISSANCE – New Concept – Place Kléber
Superb – Portugal-bouza from United States – 17 July 2025 (9/10)
Big spaces with interesting décor and furniture
Kitchenette available, big shower space
What could be improved: For some reason there were huge teddy bears hung in the windows that were big and beaten, wet and not decorative at all.
Upon our arrival we were told we got an upgrade in another hotel and after walking out the place, we were told this was given to another aily so we went back to our original hotel
It was weirdGreat and cozy – Kunckel from Denmark – 17 July 2025 (10/10)
Lovely and charming appartment! Was picked up by Amine by the parking lot and helped through the maze. Amazing service
What could be improved: NothingWould do it again! – Vivmb from United Kingdom – 16 July 2025 (8/10)
The apartment is in a great location, right in the square, lots of essential shopping in the immediate vicinity and transport links within a minute. Walking distance to the historic centre. Of course, extremely cool renovation of a historic building on the square. Clean rooms and lots of clean towels!
What could be improved: Can't really say it was problem for us but might be for some – someone has to meet us at a certain time on the street at the entrance spot to the underground garage to use their card key to open all the gates at various underground levels of the garage, and then take us up to the room. So it is not a collect your keys self-service case. There's no lift from the underground carpark to the ground, so not for people who cannot do stairs carrying their luggage. The building housing the room is right next to the ground exit of the carpark though.Beautiful Hotel in a Great Location – Tammy from United States – 13 July 2025 (10/10)
Staff was friendly and helpful. Great location. Beautiful and clean room.

What could be improved: Elevator was a little sketch but its probably fine if you’re not scared of themExceptional – Saint from Germany – 26 June 2025 (10/10)
Friendly, very helpful staff. The location is perfect, the apartment and the furnishings are excellent
Superb – Viera from Luxembourg – 26 June 2025 (9/10)
The location was, amazing, apartment very comfortable and clean. The historical monuments are walking distance, plenty of restaurants and cafe close by, as well as 2 small supermarkets. We entered the building with code access and shortly after the host welcomed us and provided us with all information related to the apartment.
What could be improved: Very minor comment – the wooden floor was quite creaky but it’s historical building so we understood.Charming place.. 😍😍 – Reem from Kuwait – 26 June 2025 (10/10)
Everything… it was ready for our arrival.. the host was so sweet to contact us in advance and offer suggestions for dinner. The location is stunning.. the ambience of the building. It is very cute and charming. My daughter wanted to take the apartment with us for the rest of the trip. It was spacious.. but cozy… we were in Love. If I am ever back in Strasbourg again, I would definitely stay here again.
