Hotel Description
Look, I’ve stayed at plenty of hotels in Strasbourg over the years, but LIFE RENAISSANCE actually surprised me – and honestly, that doesn’t happen often anymore. The location on Place Kléber is pretty much perfect if you know the city. You’re literally in the heart of everything, which sounds like tourist-brochure speak, but I mean it. You can walk to the cathedral in about three minutes, and all those winding streets in Petite France are right there. What I didn’t expect was how quiet the rooms actually are, considering you’re basically sitting on top of one of the busiest squares in Alsace.
The “new concept” thing they mention isn’t just marketing fluff – they’ve really thought about the details here. The lobby has this interesting mix of contemporary design with subtle nods to Strasbourg’s history, though not in that heavy-handed way some places do it. I particularly liked how they’ve integrated local materials and colors that actually complement the surrounding architecture rather than fighting with it. The staff knows their stuff too, which you appreciate when you need restaurant recommendations that aren’t just the obvious tourist traps. They pointed me toward this incredible winstub tucked away on Rue des Couples that I never would have found otherwise.
Here’s what really matters though – the practical stuff works. Check-in was smooth, the WiFi actually functions (you’d be amazed how many four-star places mess this up), and the bathrooms are properly designed, not just pretty to look at. The rooms themselves strike that sweet spot between modern comfort and local character. I mean, you’re not going to get sweeping Rhine views from every window – this is the city center, not some riverside resort – but what you do get is the energy of Strasbourg right outside your door. During Christmas market season, you’ll hear the activity below, but it dies down by evening and never felt intrusive. Parking can be tricky around Place Kléber, but the hotel staff will sort you out with options nearby. That 8.7 rating feels about right – it’s not perfect, but it gets the important things very right, and honestly, the location alone makes up for any minor quirks. If you want to actually experience Strasbourg rather than just sleep somewhere near it, this place delivers.
Early hotels booking in Strasbourg is essential during major events like the Christmas Market, as accommodations fill up quickly with visitors eager to experience the city’s renowned festive atmosphere and Gothic architecture.

Superb – Portugal-bouza from United States – 17 July 2025 (9/10)
Big spaces with interesting décor and furniture
Kitchenette available, big shower space
What could be improved: For some reason there were huge teddy bears hung in the windows that were big and beaten, wet and not decorative at all.
Upon our arrival we were told we got an upgrade in another hotel and after walking out the place, we were told this was given to another aily so we went back to our original hotel
It was weirdGreat and cozy – Kunckel from Denmark – 17 July 2025 (10/10)
Lovely and charming appartment! Was picked up by Amine by the parking lot and helped through the maze. Amazing service
What could be improved: NothingWould do it again! – Vivmb from United Kingdom – 16 July 2025 (8/10)
The apartment is in a great location, right in the square, lots of essential shopping in the immediate vicinity and transport links within a minute. Walking distance to the historic centre. Of course, extremely cool renovation of a historic building on the square. Clean rooms and lots of clean towels!
What could be improved: Can't really say it was problem for us but might be for some – someone has to meet us at a certain time on the street at the entrance spot to the underground garage to use their card key to open all the gates at various underground levels of the garage, and then take us up to the room. So it is not a collect your keys self-service case. There's no lift from the underground carpark to the ground, so not for people who cannot do stairs carrying their luggage. The building housing the room is right next to the ground exit of the carpark though.Beautiful Hotel in a Great Location – Tammy from United States – 13 July 2025 (10/10)

What could be improved: Elevator was a little sketch but its probably fine if you’re not scared of themExceptional – Saint from Germany – 26 June 2025 (10/10)
Friendly, very helpful staff. The location is perfect, the apartment and the furnishings are excellent
Superb – Viera from Luxembourg – 26 June 2025 (9/10)
The location was, amazing, apartment very comfortable and clean. The historical monuments are walking distance, plenty of restaurants and cafe close by, as well as 2 small supermarkets. We entered the building with code access and shortly after the host welcomed us and provided us with all information related to the apartment.
What could be improved: Very minor comment – the wooden floor was quite creaky but it’s historical building so we understood.Charming place.. 😍😍 – Reem from Kuwait – 26 June 2025 (10/10)
Everything… it was ready for our arrival.. the host was so sweet to contact us in advance and offer suggestions for dinner. The location is stunning.. the ambience of the building. It is very cute and charming. My daughter wanted to take the apartment with us for the rest of the trip. It was spacious.. but cozy… we were in Love. If I am ever back in Strasbourg again, I would definitely stay here again.
