Look, I’ll be honest – when I first saw the name “L’étoilé Strasbourg Jacuzzi Détente & Confort,” I thought it might be one of those places that promises more than it delivers. But walking into this spot on Rue de la Ziegelau actually surprised me in the best way. It’s tucked into this quiet residential street that feels properly Strasbourgeois – you know, the kind where locals are walking their dogs and grabbing fresh bread, not posing for Instagram shots. The building itself has that understated Alsatian charm, and honestly, being on the ground floor (RDC) means you’re not hauling luggage up narrow European staircases, which… thank god.

The jacuzzi situation is what really sets this place apart, and I mean that – it’s not just some tiny hot tub shoved into a corner. They’ve actually thought about the whole relaxation experience here. After spending a day wandering through Petite France or climbing up to the cathedral (your calves will thank you later), sinking into that warm water feels like exactly what you didn’t know you needed. The rooms have this cozy, well-maintained feel that screams comfort without trying too hard to be fancy. You’ll find all the essentials working properly – good water pressure, reliable wifi, decent lighting for reading – which sounds basic but you’d be amazed how many places mess this up. The neighborhood’s pretty quiet at night too, though you might hear the occasional tram rumbling by on Avenue de la Forêt Noire, but it’s more soothing than disruptive.

What I really appreciate is how this place sits in the city. You’re close enough to walk into the historic center (maybe 15-20 minutes if you’re not rushing), but far enough out that you’re not dealing with tourist crowds right outside your window. There’s a decent bakery just down the street – locals queue up there every morning, which is always a good sign. Parking can be a bit tricky in this area, like most of Strasbourg, but the hotel sorts that out for you. The staff actually know their stuff about the city too, not just the usual “here’s a map” treatment. They’ll tell you which Christmas market stalls are worth your time (if you’re visiting in December) or where to find proper choucroute that isn’t just for tourists. With an 8.9 rating, this place clearly gets something right, and after staying here, I’d say it’s the combination of genuine comfort and that jacuzzi experience without the pretentious hotel markup you’d get closer to the cathedral.

  La disponibilité du propriétaire et sa réactivité.
  Le lit et l'ambiance étaient au rendez-vous. Une atmosphère romantique comme on le souhaite.
  Une douche spacieuse et confortable.
  Le jaccuzi (une fois propre) est très agréable et spacieux et le confort est adaptable avec les jets à puissance variable, la température variable et les bulles.
  La climatisation réversible est un point positif aussi.
  
  What could be improved: Nous n'avons pas apprécié l'état du jaccuzi à notre arrivée. Le système de verrouillage automatique de la porte d'entrée fonctionnait de façon aléatoire donc pas évident en quittant l'appartement. Aussi dans la description des équipements il est indiqué qu'il y a un grille-pain mais nous ne l'avons pas trouvé. Niveau insonorisation ça laisse à désirer quand les voisins sont bruyants.

  L'ambiance générale dégagée par le logement, la décoration, la qualité des équipements (cuisine, douche, plafond lumineux…), le rapport qualité prix, l'emplacement à 10min du centre en voiture, la facilité pour se stationner près du logement…

  What could be improved: Le jacuzzi (qui était un critère de choix) éteint au disjoncteur à notre arrivée !
  
  Résultat : température a 22 degrés… bien loin de ce que l'on peut attendre de ce genre d'équipement, mis en chauffe immédiatement, sans surprise il ne fut pas a une température acceptable avant de longues heures.. nous n'avons pas pu en profiter comme nous l'aurions aimé.

  C'est bien dommage car nous avons adoré le logement et vous le conseillerions volontiers (si le propriétaire, ou l'agence qui suit le logement, pense a pré chauffer le jacuzzi avant votre arrivée…)

  El departamento es amplio, luminoso con panaderías y supermercados cercanos. El acceso fue muy fácil con código, la zona es tranquila.
  
  What could be improved: El jacuzzi estaba sucio y el agua olía mal, no lo usamos por las mañanas tienen música en el departamento de al lado a un volumen alto.
