The name’s a bit of a mouthful, but this little two-bedroom apartment on rue de Barr is honestly one of those finds that makes you feel like you stumbled onto something special. I mean, the whole place has been completely redone – and I’m talking about the kind of renovation where someone actually cared about the details, not just slapped some paint on the walls and called it a day. The moment you walk in, there’s this fresh, clean smell (you know how some renovated places still have that weird chemical odor? Not here), and everything just feels… right, I guess.

The location’s pretty brilliant, actually. Rue de Barr isn’t one of those touristy streets where you’re dodging selfie sticks every five minutes, but you’re still close enough to everything that matters. I walked to Petite France in about fifteen minutes – honestly, it’s one of those pleasant strolls where you start noticing the little Alsatian architectural details you’d miss if you were rushing around. The neighborhood has this lived-in feel; there’s a boulangerie around the corner where locals actually queue up in the mornings (always a good sign), and you’ll hear a mix of French and Alsatian dialect drifting from the café terraces. What I really appreciated was how quiet it gets at night – the street’s residential enough that you’re not dealing with late-night party crowds, but you don’t feel isolated either.

The apartment itself feels bigger than you’d expect from a T2, probably because whoever designed the renovation understood how to use space properly. The kitchen’s actually functional – I mean, you can cook a real meal here, not just heat up croissants – and there’s enough natural light that you don’t feel like you’re living in a cave. The bathroom’s modern without being sterile, if that makes sense. Look, it’s not going to blow your mind with luxury amenities or anything like that (it’s a solid 3-star setup), but everything works, everything’s clean, and there’s this attention to comfort that you notice after a long day of wandering around Strasbourg’s cobblestone streets. The 8.3 rating makes perfect sense to me – it’s the kind of place where the small things are done right, from decent water pressure to blackout curtains that actually block light. If you’re looking for somewhere that feels like a real home base rather than just a place to crash, this is it.

  Apartamento con baño privado muy limpio, acogedor y moderno.
  La cocina tiene todos servicios y los electrodomésticos en perfecto estado. Hay cafetera con café de capsulas.
  Todo exactamente como muestran las imágenes.
  Lugar tranquilo para dormir. Barrio con supermercado y tienda de comestibles muy cercana.
  Parada de tranvía muy cercana.

  Bel appartement ensoleillé, bien équipé et propre.
  Situé près des commodités ( boulangerie, supermarché de proximité) et des transports.
  Facile d'accès en tramway pour aller dans le centre historique de strasbourg.

  What could be improved: -Le quartier est bruyant lorsqu'on ouvre la fenêtre côté chambre, on peut y entendre également les voisins.
  
  -L'entrée dans le logement n'est possible qu'à partir de 16h en sachant que le départ est avant 11h. ( Impossible de déposer les bagages avant)
  
  -La clé du logement se trouve dans un hôtel, alors qu'une boîte à clés pourrait être installée à la porte cela serait plus adaptée pour éviter les allers-retours.

  What could be improved: Vasos y vajilla sucia. Sábanas que parecían usadas. La cafetera estaba de decoración por que no funcionaba. Al llegar a la planta no se sabia que puerta era el alojamiento. Pone que es para 3 o 4 personas pero realmente es para 2 personas si quieren usar el sofá o comer ahí… Muy caro para lo que es.
