Hotel Description
You know what caught me off guard about L’escale 67? It’s tucked away on the first floor of this building on Avenue de Colmar, and honestly, I almost walked right past it – there’s something charmingly understated about the entrance that feels very Strasbourg. But once you’re inside, it’s like stepping into someone’s thoughtfully curated apartment rather than a typical hotel. The 8.7 rating makes perfect sense when you realize this isn’t trying to be some flashy chain property; it’s got that boutique feel that actually works.
The location is pretty clever, actually. You’re far enough from the tourist chaos around the cathedral (trust me, you don’t want to be staying right in that madness during summer), but close enough that you can walk to Petite France in about fifteen minutes. What I really appreciated was being on Avenue de Colmar – it’s a real neighborhood street where you’ll see locals heading to the boulangerie in the morning, not just other tourists dragging suitcases around. The tram line is right there too, which means you can get to the European Parliament area without dealing with parking. Speaking of parking, they sorted that out for me, though I can’t remember if it was included or extra – but finding street parking around there is basically impossible anyway.
The rooms themselves feel more like staying in a friend’s guest room than a hotel, in the best possible way. I mean, everything’s clean and well-maintained (you’d expect that from a 4-star place), but there are these little touches that show someone actually thought about what travelers need. The Wi-Fi was solid – I was doing video calls without any issues – and the bathroom had one of those rainfall showerheads that actually has decent water pressure. You know how sometimes boutique places sacrifice practicality for style? Not here. The bed was comfortable enough that I didn’t wake up with that weird hotel back ache, and the blackout curtains actually worked, which is surprisingly rare. One small thing – the walls aren’t super thick, so if you’re a light sleeper and there’s a chatty group next door, you might hear them. But it wasn’t bad enough to bother me, and I’m pretty sensitive to noise. The staff clearly know their stuff too; they gave me restaurant recommendations that weren’t just the obvious tourist traps, including this little winstub that I never would have found on my own. Honestly, for the price point and what you get, especially in Strasbourg where decent accommodation can be pricey, L’escale 67 hits that sweet spot of feeling special without being pretentious.
Visitors often choose Strasbourg apartments over traditional hotels because they provide more space, kitchen facilities, and the opportunity to live like a local in this magnificent European capital.

Exceptional – Giulia from Italy – 22 June 2025 (10/10)
The location is very near to the center, I was able to move by walk. The zone is quite quiet so I also had the chance to rest really well. The apartment has all the needs: bath towel, coffee machine with already some coffee cups and sugar, Thé filters, bad sheets and so on.
I really enjoyed my journey here and If I come I would like to stay in this apartment again for sure.Superb – Fernando from Argentina – 21 April 2025 (9/10)
Location, comfort.
What could be improved: No youtube tv, bad internet connection, could have been cleaner.Exceptional – Alice from Paraguay – 10 June 2025 (10/10)
– Mauro from Argentina – 8 June 2025 (10/10)
Satisfait – Olivier from France – 6 January 2025 (9/10)
réservation facile
What could be improved: prix très haut du fait des marchés de NoëlParfait! – Loreline from Belgium – 16 December 2024 (10/10)

What could be improved: Le seul point « négatif » serait le parking bien qu’il y ait un grand parking à 200m de là…Schönes Appartement im ruhigen Neudorf, mit super Anbindung – David from Germany – 9 December 2024 (9/10)
Schöne Wohnung, hat fast alles was man braucht.
Exceptional – Elena from Russia – 7 December 2024 (10/10)
What could be improved: Very good – Palomeras from Spain – 18 August 2024 (8/10)
aucun
What could be improved: le divan au salon pas pour dormir
