Honestly, when I first walked up to Le Sebastopol on Rue de Sébastopol, I wasn’t sure what to expect from what’s technically listed as a 3-star place. But you know what? Sometimes the modest listings surprise you the most. This 65-square-meter apartment sits right in the heart of Strasbourg’s old town, and I mean *right* in it – you’re basically a two-minute walk from the cathedral, which is both amazing and, well, worth knowing about if you’re planning to sleep in on Sundays (those bells are enthusiastic).

The apartment itself feels genuinely modern without trying too hard, if that makes sense. Clean lines, decent kitchen that actually has everything you need – not just a hot plate and hope. The space flows really well for 65 square meters; I’ve stayed in places twice the size that felt more cramped. What struck me most was how quiet it stays despite being on such a central street. The windows do their job, though you’ll still catch the occasional late-night chatter from people wandering back from the winstubs nearby. Speaking of which, you’re literally surrounded by some of the best traditional Alsatian restaurants in the city – Maison Kammerzell is practically around the corner, though honestly, some of the smaller places tucked into the side streets nearby will give you better food for half the price.

The location thing is tricky to explain without sounding like every other travel write-up, but here’s the deal: you can walk to Petite France in about eight minutes, the European Parliament in fifteen if you’re feeling ambitious, and there’s a Monoprix just down the street for when you realize you forgot toothpaste. Parking is… well, it’s Strasbourg’s old town, so forget about street parking. But there’s a decent underground garage about three blocks away that won’t completely destroy your budget. The tram system here is actually fantastic once you figure it out – the closest stop puts you anywhere in the city without much fuss. I’d honestly recommend ditching the car altogether if you can swing it. The check-in process was refreshingly straightforward, none of that awkward “where do I even go” confusion you sometimes get with apartment rentals. The 8.1 rating feels about right – it’s solid, reliable, does what it promises without any major surprises good or bad. You’re not getting luxury touches, but you’re also not paying luxury prices, and the trade-off makes sense when you’re this close to everything that makes Strasbourg worth visiting in the first place.

    Great location, right on the edge of the old town. The flat is very nice, with all the amenities and spacious bedrooms.

    What could be improved: No living room. If you’re out all day it’s not a problem, but if you want to spend some time in the flat, the large bedroom or the dinner table are the only options.

    The property location is very close to city center, it is 2nd floor and has an elevator.

    What could be improved: The property is in a bad area, which is strage considering the walking distance to city center, near Les Halle mall. During the night the streets are not safe arround the building.
    The pictures of the property do not reflect the reality, they are deciving. The appartament needs a refresh, but above all a good cleaning. We arrived in the evening, one of windows from main bedroom was not closing. We raised the claim both to Booking.com and to Cocoonr.fr. It seems the appartment was rented by another local agency, no one managed to solve the issue during our 3 nights staying. We slept with an open window, less than 17 degrees in the room during the night, plus the noise of the nearby avenue. None of the platforms or local agency proposed a switch or any solutions.

    Evin konumu bir harika! Her yere çok yakın. Tren istasyonuna 10 dakika uzaklıkta. 3 kişinin rahatlıkla konaklayabileceği bir yer. Ocağı açtığınızda çalışması için üzerine tava vs. koymanız gerekli. Asansörü var. Bulaşık makinesi var. Gayet güzel.

    What could be improved: Fırının nasıl çalıştığı en başta anlatılabilirdi. Çamaşır makinesi olabilirdi. Evden çıkış talimatları çok sert, buna biraz stres yaptım.

    Ubicación excelente . El apartamento con todo lo necesario para 4 personas . Camas cómodas . Todo limpio . Paradas de tram prácticamente en la puerta o a un par de minutos . Paseando al centro en cinco o diez minutos . Rodeado de centros comerciales , supermercado , etc

    What could be improved: Había obras en la calle . Supongo q terminarán pronto , pero de momento están y empiezan a trabajar temprano.

    ストラスブール駅からトラムで一駅。そこから徒歩2分ほど。クレベール広場なども徒歩圏で便利でした。
    部屋は広々していて、キッチンも使いやすかったです。

    What could be improved: 結構夜遅くまで通りで人が騒ぐ声が聞こえました。
    トイレ、バスルームのドアがうまく締まりませんでした。
    シャワーと蛇口の切り替えがうまくいかず、使用時は常に両方から水やお湯が出てしまいお湯が足りなくなりました。

    Localização muito boa, com supermercado ao lado, restaurantes e atrações turísticas bem próximos e facilidade de chegar/sair a partir da ferroviária. O tamanho da propriedade é bem adequado para 4 pessoas (estávamos em 3). Muito bem equipada.
