Honestly, I wasn’t sure what to expect from Le K Appartement when I first pulled up to 65 Route des Romains – it’s tucked away in this quiet residential stretch that feels worlds away from the touristy chaos around the cathedral, but you’re actually only about fifteen minutes by tram to get into the heart of Strasbourg. The building itself has that understated French elegance thing going on, you know what I mean? Not flashy, but there’s something really solid and welcoming about it. What struck me right away was how the staff actually seemed to care – they remembered my name by day two, which, I mean, doesn’t happen much these days.

The apartment itself… well, it’s one of those places that just gets the details right. The kitchen actually has everything you need (I’m talking proper knives, not those sad hotel butter knives), and there’s this lovely little balcony where I found myself having coffee every morning, watching the neighborhood wake up. You can hear the trams in the distance, but it’s more comforting than annoying – sort of like a gentle urban lullaby. The bed was honestly fantastic, and I say this as someone who usually tosses and turns the first few nights anywhere new. What really impressed me was the thoughtful stuff – good lighting for reading, plenty of outlets where you actually need them, and the shower pressure was, well, let’s just say my apartment back home could learn a thing or two.

Being on Route des Romains puts you in this sweet spot where you feel like you’re living in a real Strasbourg neighborhood rather than staying in hotel-land. There’s a fantastic boulangerie about a three-minute walk away (turn right out the front door, you can’t miss it), and the weekly market at Place du Marché aux Poissons is close enough that I started planning my mornings around it. The 9.4 rating makes total sense once you’ve been there – it’s not trying to be the fanciest place in town, but everything just… works. I actually extended my stay by two nights because the thought of packing up and dealing with another check-in somewhere else felt ridiculous when I was already so comfortable. If you’re the type of traveler who wants to feel settled rather than just passing through, this place nails it.

  Apartment was very clean, with proper sheets, towels. it was very warm and well equipped. beds were pretty comfortable as well. As we were travelling with kids, supermarket across the street was a great bonus. tram stop was very near and it took us 15 minutes to get to city center. the host was super responsive and ready to help.
  
  What could be improved: Location in questionable area, comfortable to get to city center and good to be back by 8-9 p.m.

  Nikola was impeccable, he allowed us to do an early check-out as soon as we arrived in Strasbourg and he also allowed us to do a late check-out. He was always available. Although the house isn't in the city centre, it's a 1-minute walk from the metro station which takes you directly to the centre in about 10 minutes. There's also a pharmacy and a LIDL opposite the house, which are great facilities.

  We had a wonderful stay. The owners were very professional and made sure we had everything we needed for a great experience, as well as providing us with local knowledge. The apartment is next to the terminus of one of the city’s tram lines, which makes it very easy to get in and out of the Grand Ile. Our rooms were very nicely furnished and made our stay very comfortable. We felt it was a very safe area, with supermarkets and the like nearby. We would not hesitate to recommend Le K to any family/couple visiting Strasbourg.

  The apartment was near to a supermarket, pharmacy, tram F which goes to most places of interest in Strasbourg city, only 15mins from train station. They have a terrace as well… rooms were great and design comfortable. They also have welcome cookies, towels and toiletries for guests. Great for families…
