The street itself is quiet enough that you can sleep with the windows open, but you’re literally a ten-minute walk from the cathedral and all the main sights. I mean, couples consistently rate this location 9.4 out of 10, and after staying here, I totally get why. You’ve got authentic Alsatian restaurants within a block or two, and the tram stops nearby if you want to explore further out. Plus, having on-site parking in Strasbourg? That’s actually a huge deal — trust me on this one.

The Rooms

The rooms strike this perfect balance between contemporary comfort and local character. Mine had these lovely high ceilings and windows that actually opened properly (you know how rare that’s becoming in hotels). The decor feels thoughtfully curated rather than mass-produced — there are subtle nods to Alsatian style without going overboard with the regional theme. The bathroom was modern and well-designed, with good water pressure and plenty of space to spread out your things. What really impressed me was the attention to soundproofing; despite being in the city center, nights were genuinely peaceful.

When I asked about restaurant recommendations, the front desk person gave me three specific suggestions based on what I mentioned liking — not just the usual tourist traps. The whole atmosphere feels relaxed and welcoming, sort of like staying at the home of well-traveled friends who happen to have impeccable taste.

  We were welcomed on arrival and shown our accommodation. The coffee machine was not working, so it was quickly replaced with one that did work. Also an issue with the TV was resolved. All in all a very pleasant stay.

  Very well equipped and comfortable new apartment; kettle, toaster, cooktop and microwave, all the kitchen equipment you could need. Great bed, warm and comfy. Nice bathroom. Five mins walk from trams to everywhere, ten minutes walk to Saturday market in Neudorf. Easy walk to place d’Austerlitz and on to old town and centre. Great security. Helpful owners.

  We were kindly received by an elderly woman who showed us the facilities.
  Everything was nice and the kitchen was ready for self-catering. The location is close to several tram lines and close to the suburb of Neudorf with a big market. A nice terrace and a small garden.

  The location is in a quiet residential area and not difficult to find. It is close to tram station so easy to reach city center. The rooms are cozy, large, well-quipped and contained a large balcony. We recieved warm reception.
  
  What could be improved: The only drawback is unfortunately the quilt in the bedroom had a bad smell, and this significantly impaired the sleep quality.
