Walking up to – La Jungle – on Rue des Petites Fermes, you immediately get the sense this isn’t your typical four-star hotel. The name gives it away, honestly — there’s something playful and unexpected about this place that sets it apart from the more buttoned-up properties you’ll find closer to Strasbourg‘s cathedral. The building itself has this charming Alsatian character, but with a modern twist that hints at the thoughtful design waiting inside.

The Neighborhood Advantage

Here’s what I love about the location — you’re in a quieter residential area that feels authentically local, but you’re not stuck in the middle of nowhere. The Petites Fermes district has this lovely village-within-the-city vibe, with tree-lined streets and actual neighbors going about their daily routines. You can walk to the historic center in about fifteen minutes, or hop on the tram if you’re feeling lazy. What’s really nice is coming back here after a day of sightseeing — it feels like retreating to your own little corner of the city rather than just another tourist zone.

The Room Experience

The room design lives up to that jungle theme without going overboard (thank goodness). Think botanical prints, natural textures, and this really clever use of green accents that somehow makes the space feel both cozy and fresh. The beds are seriously comfortable — I mean, the kind where you actually want to linger in the morning instead of rushing off to breakfast. Storage space is well thought out too, which you don’t always get in European hotels, and the bathroom feels modern without being sterile.

Practical Perks

The staff here really knows their stuff about Strasbourg, which makes a difference when you’re trying to figure out where to grab dinner or which Christmas market stalls are worth your time. There’s parking available, which is honestly a godsend if you’re driving — finding a spot in central Strasbourg can be a real headache. The hotel also has this relaxed atmosphere where you don’t feel like you need to whisper in the lobby or dress up just to walk through the common areas.

Why Guests Love It

What really strikes me about this place is how it manages to feel both polished and unpretentious. Couples seem to particularly appreciate the intimate scale and the fact that you’re not dealing with tour groups or convention crowds. The location gets consistently high marks because it offers that sweet spot — close enough to everything you want to see, but far enough from the tourist chaos to feel like you’re experiencing the real Strasbourg.   L'appartement était magnifique et décoré avec soin, le style jungle a fait l'unanimité !
  Tout s'est très bien passé sur l'ensemble du séjour et Maxence a été à l'écoute en plus d'être soucieux de notre confort. Maxence était très accessible, sympa et a donné beaucoup d'informations utiles. Logement parfait pour voyager avec un groupe de 6 à 8 personnes et visiter Strasbourg. Nous étions à coté d'un tramway, qui rejoint l'hyper-centre en quelques minutes. Quartier au calme.
  Le logement était très propre, les instructions pour le check-in et check-out étaient claires et faciles à suivre. Ce fut un excellent séjour. Nous nous y sentirions à nouveau à l'aise lors d'un prochain séjour à Strasbourg.
