Hotel Description
So here’s the thing about ins’temps 67 – it’s tucked away on the third floor of this building on Boulevard de Nancy, and honestly, you might walk right past it if you’re not paying attention. But that’s actually part of its charm, you know? The location is pretty clever when you think about it. You’re close enough to the historic center that you can walk to Petite France or the cathedral without breaking a sweat, but far enough out that you’re not dealing with all the tourist chaos and those late-night party groups stumbling around the cobblestones.
I mean, Boulevard de Nancy isn’t the prettiest street in Strasbourg – let’s be real here – but it’s got character, and more importantly, it’s got trams. The Homme de Fer stop is just a quick walk, which is honestly a lifesaver if you’re planning day trips or need to get to the train station with luggage. The hotel itself feels more like staying at a friend’s well-designed apartment than some cookie-cutter chain place. The rooms have this modern, minimalist thing going on that actually works – clean lines, good lighting, and thank god, proper blackout curtains. You know what really impressed me though? The attention to small details. Like, the bathroom fixtures are quality stuff, not the flimsy nonsense you usually get at three-star places, and someone clearly thought about storage space instead of just cramming in furniture.
The breakfast situation is solid – nothing fancy, but fresh pastries and decent coffee, which is really all you need before wandering off to explore. What I appreciated most was how quiet it gets at night, despite being on a main boulevard. The windows do their job, and the building has good bones, so you’re not hearing every footstep from the room above. Check-in was smooth too, though I’d recommend calling ahead if you’re arriving late since it’s not a huge operation with 24/7 front desk staff. The staff I dealt with knew their stuff about the city – gave me some solid restaurant recommendations that weren’t just the obvious tourist traps everyone hits. One thing to note: there’s no elevator, so if stairs are an issue, definitely mention that when booking. But honestly, for the price point and that 8.9 rating, ins’temps 67 delivers exactly what it promises. It’s not trying to be fancy or Instagram-perfect, just a well-run, thoughtfully designed place to crash while you explore one of France’s most underrated cities. Perfect for travelers who want something with personality but don’t need their hotel to be the main event of their trip.
Early hotels booking in Strasbourg is essential during major events like the Christmas Market, as accommodations fill up quickly with visitors eager to experience the city’s renowned festive atmosphere and Gothic architecture.

Reviews
Apart from the toilet it’s was well equipped and very comfortable and clean – Kerry from United Kingdom – 2 June 2025 (8/10)
Close to train station which was very convenient for our travel from Germany for our journey home.
What could be improved: The toilet didn’t have a good flush and the sign confirmed this as it warns you of a bill if you block it.Highly recommended! – Kim from Australia – 29 May 2025 (10/10)
Slight inconvenience to begin with, but the apartment more than made up for it — stylish, spotless, and perfectly located. Good communication with the host and clear instructions made self check-in easy. The kitchen was well-equipped, and the large flat-screen TV was perfect for unwinding after a day of sightseeing. Easy walking distance to the station and all major sights. Highly recommend.
Fantastic location, clean and tidy stay. Would highly recommend. – Maddie from United Kingdom – 23 March 2025 (10/10)
Fantastic location, very close to central station and a short walk into the old town. Very clean and tidy with great kitchen amenities. Responsive host who answered my question within minutes. Would definitely recommend.
What could be improved: Like others have mentioned the shower is a bit slow to drain but this is not a big issue.Exceptional – Gabriela from Romania – 7 November 2024 (10/10)
We had an excellent stay, everything was clean and comfortable. Thank you for hosting us!
Poor – Yoshinari from France – 25 December 2024 (3/10)
The room was clean and well decorated
What could be improved: We had a problem with the induction hob during our stay, which wasn’t fixed despite the staff’s efforts. This meant we had to throw away our food and wasted a lot of time. Sadly, they did nothing to resolve the issue or offer any compensation, which was very disappointing.Good – Gunel from United States – 18 December 2024 (7/10)
Location( close to station). Have washer and nicely styled CLEAN apartment.
What could be improved: 1)Shower, it was very uncomfortable because you keep have to close water or it will fill that tiny tab you are taking shower. Looked like it was clogged.
2)Stairs (3rd floor) no elevator off course. Very hard to handle large luggage on stairs like thatWould only stay in winter and need to be very fit for stairs – Vicky from Australia – 4 July 2025 (4/10)
The apartment was lovely and well stocked nice and clean
What could be improved: The was no air conditioning and it was 37 degrees it was like living in an oven. Asked for a second fan and was told no. We moved out after 2 nights to another hotel. It would be ok in cooler weather but also has 74 step stairs to carry up your luggage no lift.Super funktional eingerichtetes Studio – Markus from Thailand – 24 July 2025 (10/10)
Super funktional eingerichtetes Studio. Klein aber fein! Alles vorhanden, um sich wohlzufühlen. Nahe zum Bahnhof und ins Zentrum. Gutes Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis.
