The city center is about a 15-minute tram ride away, and there’s a stop pretty close to the hotel. What I really loved though was the parking situation — they have private spots right at the hotel, which is honestly a godsend in Strasbourg where finding a place to leave your car can be a real headache.

My room was on the third floor, and I have to say, ibis Styles really nailed the design here. The space felt bigger than I expected, with this clever use of bright colors and smart storage that made everything feel organized. The bed was comfortable — not high-end, but definitely good enough for a solid night’s sleep. The bathroom was compact but well-designed, with a decent shower that actually had good water pressure. You know what impressed me most? The little touches, like the local artwork on the walls and the reading lights that were actually positioned where you’d want them.

The breakfast setup here is where this place really shines, honestly. They offer both continental and buffet options, and the buffet spread was way more extensive than I expected for a three-star place. Fresh pastries (this is France, after all), good coffee, local cheeses, and even some hot options that change daily. I mean, you’re not going to confuse it with a five-star hotel spread, but it’s definitely a step above the usual continental breakfast you get at chain hotels. The dining area gets busy around 8 AM, so if you’re not a morning person, you might want to go a bit earlier or later.
