Hotel Description
Look, I’ll be honest – when I first walked up to Le Saint-Pierre, I wasn’t expecting much from the outside. It’s tucked into this narrow street that you’d probably miss if you weren’t specifically looking for it, but that’s actually part of its charm. The building itself has that classic Strasbourg look, you know, with those timber frames that make you feel like you’ve stepped into a medieval postcard.
What really got me though was the location – I mean, you’re literally a two-minute walk from the cathedral. Not “conveniently located near” like these places love to say, but actually so close you can hear the bells chiming from your room (which is lovely during the day, though if you’re a super light sleeper, maybe pack earplugs). The Rue Saint-Pierre-le-Jeune is one of those cobblestone streets where locals actually walk to get groceries, not just a tourist thoroughfare, so there’s this authentic neighborhood vibe that’s hard to find in city centers. I’d grab my morning coffee from the little boulangerie just around the corner – way better than hotel breakfast, honestly.
The rooms are… well, they’re what you’d expect from a solid 3-star place. Nothing fancy, but clean and comfortable enough that I slept well after long days wandering around. The bathrooms are on the smaller side (typical for European city hotels), but the water pressure was surprisingly good. What I really appreciated was how quiet it got at night – despite being right in the heart of everything, the street doesn’t get the rowdy bar crowds that some of the main tourist strips deal with. You’ll hear the occasional late-night conversation drifting up from the cobblestones, but it’s more charming than disruptive. The Wi-Fi actually worked throughout the building, which isn’t always a given in these older structures, and the front desk staff seemed genuinely helpful rather than just going through the motions. I had to ask about parking – there’s no hotel lot, but they pointed me to a public garage about five minutes away that wasn’t too brutal on the wallet. The whole area is perfect for walking anyway, so once you’re parked, you really don’t need your car until checkout. I’d definitely stay here again, especially if you want to feel like you’re experiencing Strasbourg as more than just another tourist passing through.

Passable. – David from Belgium – 19 July 2024 (7/10)
Location. Confortable bed.
What could be improved: Not very cozy. Bathroom is very crammed with toilet and showerA great base for exploring Strasbourg. – Valerie from United Kingdom – 3 July 2024 (8/10)
Great location convenient for exploring central Strasbourg. Walking distance from the station (if you are travelling light). Comfortable stay. The kitchen has a two ring hob, microwave, fridge, toaster, coffee maker.
We made a mistake trying to get in the wrong door to the building – the apartment block is on a corner and we hadn't realised there was another gate in the side street (our fault as the address was perfectly clear but obviously our minds weren't!). Although on the listing it sated office phone hours until 11pm, we got the office closed announcement at 10.30pm. However after leaving a message, we were contacted quite soon by text and all was sorted out. Another query on another day was also answered promptly. The building has metal roller blinds that rattled so raising and lowering these was quite noisy even with the windows shut – take ear plugs if you're a light sleeper.
What could be improved: Perhaps a few more kitchen pans and utensils would be useful, although we were able to cook a basic meal.It was still a nice stay. – Weiao from United Kingdom – 13 March 2024 (8/10)

Perfect location, access is fully automised and instructions are super clear. The apartment is equipped with everything you may need: fridge, microwave, toster, coffee machine, different plates and glasses, everything for cooking. We really enjoyed our stay here and would return again.

What could be improved: Complex code system. Kettle did not work. Sink plug did not work. Leg of one chair defective. Suspect apartment run by remote control. No apparanthostSuperb – Jette from Belgium – 1 December 2022 (9/10)
The studio was quite well equipped and looked nice. It was clean and located right in the centre. The owner was very responsive. I would stay again.
What could be improved: A tea towel in the kitchen to dry up the dishes and a fresh sponge to wash them up would have been nice. The bathroom was rather dark.Good value for money, location is very good, but could be cleaner. – Beneti from Germany – 5 August 2024 (7/10)
