Look, I’ve stayed in a lot of places in Strasbourg, and this little apartment on Rue des Frères Eberts honestly surprised me. You know what struck me first? The light – and I mean that literally. The place lives up to its name because those windows just flood the space with this gorgeous natural light that makes even rainy Alsatian mornings feel bright. It’s one of those modern renovations where they actually got it right, keeping the character of the old building but making everything feel fresh and clean.

The location is pretty clever, actually. You’re in this quiet residential pocket that most tourists never find, but here’s the thing – you can walk to Petite France in about twelve minutes, and the cathedral is maybe fifteen minutes on foot. I mean, you’re close enough to everything that matters, but far enough from the crowds that you won’t hear drunk tourists stumbling back from the winstubs at 2 AM. The Eberts brothers street itself is this narrow little thing with typical Strasbourg architecture, and there’s a boulangerie just around the corner that does these incredible kougelhopfs – honestly, better than some of the touristy places in the old town.

What really won me over was the attention to detail. The kitchen actually has everything you need (I’m talking proper knives, not those sad little things most rentals give you), and the shower has serious water pressure – you know how hit-or-miss that can be in these old buildings. The bed was comfortable enough that I didn’t wake up feeling like I’d been wrestling with it all night, and the neighborhood stays pretty quiet even during the Christmas market season, which is saying something. The 9.5 rating makes total sense once you’re there – it’s not trying to be fancy, but everything just works the way it should. The only minor thing is that parking can be a bit tricky if you’re driving, but honestly, in Strasbourg you’re better off using the tram anyway. If you want somewhere that feels like you’re actually living in the city rather than just passing through, this place gets it right.

  Το δωμάτιο ήταν πολύ φωτεινό με υπέροχο μπαλκόνι που έβλεπε στο κήπο ευρύχωρο για τρία άτομα με όλες τις ανέσεις που χρειαζόμασταν .
  
  What could be improved: τα λευκά είδη …θα προτιμούσα οι πετσέτες μπάνιου να ήταν λευκές και άφρατες όπως και τα κλινισκεπασματα λευκά για να απολυμαίνονται καλύτερα …ο χώρος εισόδου έξω από το δωμάτιο κάπως πιο χαρούμενος και πιο προσεγμένος …βέβαια δεν είναι της Εlodie ευθύνη αλλά όλων των ενοίκων των διαμερισμάτων..

  Нам очень понравилось все. Мы приехали на машине из Германии и сразу поставили машину на подземную бесплатную парковку, которую нам показали. Квартира находится в тихом месте, так как дом стоит внутри квартала. Есть симпатичный балкон, которым можно пользоваться в хорошую погоду. Квартира очень чистая и уютная, все продумано для удобства гостей. На кухне есть все необходимое – набор посуды, микроволновка, посудомойка, холодильник, кофемашина, для которой нам оставили капсулы. Есть чайник, чайные пакетики, соль, оливковое масло, специи и др. Расположение тоже удобное – в 3-х минутах ходьбы находится супермаркет Lidl. Также близко от дома есть остановка трамваев A и E (Эмиль Матисс), чтобы доехать в исторический центр города. Мы постоянно пользовались трамваем линии А. На остановке есть автомат, там мы купили проездной билет на городской транспорт на 3 дня (цена для взрослых 10,4 Euro). Этот билет нужно закомпостировать прямо на остановке перед посадкой в трамвай.
  Отдельная большая благодарность – хозяйке Элоди. Она постоянно была с нами на связи, быстро и подробно отвечала на все вопросы и решала наши проблемы. Благодаря Элоди от посещения Страсбурга остались очень теплые впечатления. С удовольствием вернусь в эту квартиру, если будет такая возможность

  Der bisher beste Aufenthalt in Straßburg! Sehr sauber, praktisch und mit Geschmack eingerichtet. Das Auto haben wir während des Aufenthaltes überhaupt nicht benötigt, mit den Öffentlichen kann alles erledigt und gesehen werden, deren Tarifstruktur ist Top! Supermarkt ca. 150m entfernt. Tolle Gastgeberin, gerne wieder.

  L'appartement est très propre, lumineux, sécurisé et au calme dans la copropriété. Idéalement bien situé tout proche d'un commerce d'alimentation et près des arrêts de bus et de tramway.
  Très bon accueil d'Elodie . Nous avons apprécié ses conseils pour nous rendre au centre ville via les transports en commun.
  
  What could be improved: Manque casseroles, saladier, plats adaptés pour 4 personnes. Sinon, vaisselle quotidienne courante, parfait.
