Located on Rue de la 1ère Armée, you’re literally a five-minute walk from the cathedral – and I mean the real five minutes, not the exaggerated hotel website version where they time it at a sprint.

The building itself has that solid Strasbourg feel, you know, the kind where you can tell it’s been housing people for decades and will keep doing so long after we’re gone. When I first walked up to number 11, honestly, I wasn’t expecting much from a 3-star place, but the entrance surprised me in a good way. Clean, straightforward, no pretense. The apartment setup means you get more space than your typical hotel room – there’s actually room to spread out your stuff, which anyone who’s lived out of a suitcase will appreciate. The kitchenette is basic but functional; I made coffee there every morning and it beat the lobby alternative hands down.

Here’s the thing about the location that really matters – you’re close enough to walk everywhere that counts, but far enough from the main tourist chaos that you can actually sleep at night. Place Kléber is maybe a seven-minute stroll, and the Christmas market (if you’re there in season) is right there too. But what I really appreciated was being near actual neighborhood spots. There’s this little bakery just around the corner that clearly serves locals, not just visitors – the kind of place where they nod at you by the third day. The tram lines are super accessible too, which matters if you want to explore beyond the old town without dealing with parking nightmares.

The 8.3 rating makes sense to me – it’s not luxury, but it delivers on what it promises without any unpleasant surprises. The wifi actually works (tested it on video calls), the shower has decent pressure, and the bed doesn’t make you question your life choices. I mean, it’s not going to wow you with fancy amenities, but sometimes you just want a clean, comfortable base that doesn’t eat your entire travel budget. The neighborhood gets quiet after about 10 PM, which was perfect for me, though if you’re looking for nightlife right outside your door, you’ll want to walk a bit. Check-in was straightforward – none of that awkward waiting around while they “find your reservation” drama.

What really sold me on the place was how it felt more like staying in someone’s well-maintained apartment than a generic hotel room. You get a sense of actually living in Strasbourg for a few days rather than just passing through. And honestly, in a city where decent accommodations in the center can cost a fortune, especially during peak season, this place hits that sweet spot of location, comfort, and reasonable pricing that’s getting harder to find.

  It was clean, the location was in the center of the city, near the notre-dame, the owner was kind and replyed quick to our questions.
  
  What could be improved: The main street was in frot of our windows, and it got very noisy during the night and day because of the trams, it was hard to sleep. The front door doesn’t feel very safe

  I had a stay at this studio in the center of Strasbourg. The location is right in the heart of the city, making it easy to explore on foot. The place was clean, with modern furniture that made it feel comfortable. The host was also very responsive and helpful throughout. Highly recommended!
  
  What could be improved: Unfortunately, I didn’t have warm water during my entire stay, which was quite inconvenient. The studio itself is quite small and feels crowded, with two beds, a kitchen, and a table all in one space. The building was also not well-maintained, and for the last two days, the elevator wasn’t working—luckily it’s only on the second floor.

  Ubicación cerca del centro, podías llegar andando a todos los puntos de interés. También tenía una parada de tranvía en la puerta del apartamento.
  
  What could be improved: Durante los días de mi estancia hubo una ola de calor y los ventiladores no eran suficientes para mitigar el calor. Lo ideal sería aire acondicionado

  Mieszkanie położone w samym centrum starego miasta. W pobliżu sklepy, restauracje, tramwaj. Miły kontakt z Właścicielką. Klucze w skrytce, co bardzo ułatwia dostęp o dowolnej godzinie. Jest czysto, kuchnia wyposażona we wszystkie potrzebne sprzęty. Nasz dwudniowy pobyt był bardzo udany.
  
  What could be improved: Mieszkanie przy linii tramwajowej. Nam to nie przeszkadzało, ale jak ktoś jest przewrażliwiony na punkcie miejskiego hałasu, może być niezadowolony. Z drobnych rzeczy sugerowała bym wymianę poduszek bo są płaskie i nie wygodne.

  What could be improved: La camera da letto è appena sopra ad una strada parecchio trafficata e con la fermata dell'autobus quindi un po' rumorosa la notte. Noi siamo stati sabato sera e la notte c'era molta confusione.
