The 40 square meters feel way more spacious than you’d expect, probably because of those slanted ceilings that come with being tucked under the roof. There’s something cozy about it, sort of like staying in someone’s well-kept attic conversion, if that makes sense.

The location is actually pretty clever when you think about it. You’re close enough to walk to Petite France (maybe fifteen minutes if you don’t get distracted by all the half-timbered houses), but far enough from the tourist crowds that you can actually hear yourself think. I spent a morning just wandering the nearby streets – there’s this little bakery around the corner that locals queue up at around 7 AM, and honestly, their pain aux raisins made my entire trip worthwhile. The apartment itself has this lived-in quality that I really appreciated – nothing fancy or Instagram-perfect, just clean and functional with decent Wi-Fi and a kitchen that actually works. The shower pressure was surprisingly good too, which, let’s be real, can make or break a stay.

What I found interesting is how the rating sits at 7.7 – it feels about right, actually. This isn’t a place that’s trying to wow you with marble bathrooms or concierge services, but it does exactly what it promises. The “très calme” part of the name isn’t just marketing speak; I genuinely slept better here than I had in weeks. There were a couple of minor things – the stairs up to the top floor are no joke if you’re hauling heavy luggage, and the heating took a while to figure out – but honestly, these felt like small trade-offs for having your own quiet corner of Strasbourg. If you’re the type who wants to feel like you’re actually living somewhere rather than just passing through, this works really well. Plus, there’s something satisfying about having those two separate rooms when you need to spread out your stuff or just have a moment away from your travel companion.

  La proximité de la ligne de tram, à peine sorti de la gare le tram nous dépose à moins de 5 minutes à pied. Quartier calme avec un peu de tout a proximité, de bonnes adresses de resto , des magasins d alimentations , la frontière allemande à 4 arrêts de tram …

  L'emplacement était ce qu'il nous fallait et on cherchait du basique pas cher donc c'est bien.

  La communication avec le loueur et l'emplacement proche du tram qui permet d'aller rapidement au centre de Strasbourg.

  Tres proche du tram, tres facile de se rendre dans le centre ville et cela permet de dormir au calme, donc top!
  
  What could be improved: L'arrivée etait pas facile. Nous avions peu d'infos pour recuperer les clés, il fallait passer quasiment à travers des arbustres pour prendre les clés cachées… Le tout quand on arrive tard, c'est pas terrible. L'utilisation d'une boite à clés n'est pourtant pas tres compliqué. Le message etait "marrant" avec la référence de la chasse au trésor mais je recommande pas de rester sur ce systeme. Concernant l'appartement, je suis contente que sa fonction etait que dormir. Il n'est pas du tout cosy, tres "vieillot" et manque d'endroits dans le salon ou se réunir.
