Hotel Description
Okay, so first thing you should know about this place – it’s not actually a hotel in the traditional sense. This is a proper three-room apartment smack in the middle of Strasbourg’s old town, and honestly? That’s exactly why it works so well. When I say “plein centre,” I mean you’re literally a two-minute walk from the cathedral, which sounds touristy until you realize how perfect that is for grabbing morning coffee at one of those tiny cafés on Place Kléber before the tour groups descend.
The location on Rue Sengenwald is one of those narrow cobblestone streets that makes you feel like you’re living in a fairy tale – except, you know, with decent WiFi and a proper shower. You’re close enough to everything that matters but tucked away from the main pedestrian chaos. I mean, you’ll still hear some street noise because it’s the city center, but it’s more charming church bells and café chatter than traffic horns. The apartment itself feels authentically Strasbourgeois (if that’s even a word) – those beautiful Alsatian details you see in all the postcards, but actually functional for real life. The kitchen’s properly equipped, which is huge if you want to hit up the morning market at Place du Marché aux Poissons and actually cook something decent.
What really gets me about this place is how it strikes that perfect balance between being tourist-friendly and genuinely local. You’re walking distance from Petite France – obviously – but you’re also near where actual Strasbourg residents go about their day. The tram stops right nearby, so getting to the European Quarter or even across to Germany is ridiculously easy. Parking can be a bit of a nightmare in this area (welcome to European city centers), but there’s usually something available if you’re patient, and honestly, once you’re settled in, you won’t need your car much anyway. The whole point of staying here is being able to walk everywhere that matters. I particularly love that you can stroll down to the Ill River in about five minutes – there’s something really peaceful about those waterside paths, especially in the early evening when the light hits those half-timbered houses just right. The 4-star rating feels accurate too; it’s not luxury in a stuffy hotel sense, but everything works well and feels thoughtfully put together. That 9-point-something rating from other guests makes total sense once you’ve spent a few days here.
Strasbourg hotels range from charming boutique properties in the historic Petite France district to elegant converted mansions and modern accommodations near the European Parliament.

I liked everything. The apartment is comfortable, spacious, well equipped, clean. Simply lovely – every traveller's dream. Located centrally, parking easy, all useful shops around. Beds are extra comfortable. There is also a large sofa in the living room.
In particular I liked the balconies on both sides of the apartment and modern design of the furniture.

I can't believe its rate is just 8.8. It should be 10. Everything was more than perfect. Spacious living room, two separated bedrooms, well equipped kitchen and even reasonable price. Highly recommend and if available, just stay here. You will never regret it.
